I grew up with older siblings who had the Sega Master System, and so Wonderboy 3 The Dragons Trap became my first ever video game. It was one of those one in a lifetime games who united the family as we tried to progress through it.

Oh man, I remember when this came out back when I was about twelve years old. Never had I been more excited about the release of a new game after playing the first two in the series to death. Hearing that familiar music sent a shiver down my spine. Definitely purchasing this for PS4 this week. What an unexpected blast from the past.

i have spotted a mistake compared to the original version. in the original, the character always had the sword on the right hand and the shield to the left. they had 2 sprites, 1 for each direction of movement instead of just flipping around one sprite when turning the other way. from what i see, the 8bit mode of this remake retains that but the HD, while having a turn around animation, just flips the sprite.

Most people I know own more than half of these for the system, People don't buy it exclusively for Zelda anymore, though they allk still buy it. There are more choices

Yes, this games is a remake from Wonder Boy III the Dragon's trap (Sega master system,1989).Wonder Boy was extreme popular on Europe and Brazil and the first game has a port to NES but it was called adventure island Ps: Wonder Boy III the dragon's trap and Wonder boy III Moster Lair(Sega genesis,1991) are diference games and only the first Wonder boy is similar to adventure island.
