I have a theory, but first let me talk about an interview with the staff in Animage. We all know the reason why this season lacks punch and kick. That is because they do not want to promote animal abuse. Another reason is from an interview from the magazine Animage. The staffs behind Wonderful Precure stated that “we want to make the style, context, characters, world build, lore, and etc to be very distinct to Hirogaru Sky” (basically they want it to be very very very different). “Hirogaru Sky has a very fierce, serious battle and the style is a very cool style. As for Wonderful, it will proceed into a different direction. Wonderful will have a cute style and instead of a fight we will have the Cure chase the monster instead” and so there will definitely be an emphasis on chasing and I do believe that even with a general we will probably not have a physical fight or even fight scene. As for this week episode, I like Satoru involvement. He is a great addition and honestly I will be ok with him staying this way and not becoming a mid season (like Yui in Princess). Many might disagree with me, but that’s just my opinion. Daifuku, I love you. Why are you so adorable. Also, in this episode we get to see the back of his head and well I don’t see heart like Komugi and Yuki. Daifuku is probably a normal rabbit. Not special like Komugi and Yuki which makes me wonder. Will he be able to become a human? I don’t have much opinion this episode because it’s just world build and etc. Good episode though! Omg I forgot to mention. The stock footage of Komugi becoming dog/human. That throw out the pace of the episode a lot and imagine if we have to deal with Yuki doing that too. It will get old very very easy and it took lots of screen time. I hope it’s not every episode from now on. Or maybe once per episode is still tolerable. Edits: Sorry Friendy not everyone can be our queen Butterfly. I think Friendy shield is less effective because Wonderful shield is a paw and it’s squishy and it can reflect back? Like action = reaction?

This was a fantastic episode for Satoru ^^ I'm liking him more and more as a character and I'm looking forward to seeing how his animal research will help Iroha and Komugi in the future ^^ Im glad to see the Niko Garden early on, its super pretty, I'm a fan of world building and I'm happy that this season is bringing us the lore this early instead of later on in some previous seasons ^^ The dynamic between Iroha and Satoru is really sweet and Im looking forward to see them and Komugi work together as a team from this point on ^^ Great video as always ^^

I think the situation we’re getting here with Iroha/Komugi is that Iroha is the main character but NOT a leader. Or it can be something like Komugi is the main character but we’re witnessing the story through Iroha’s view (there’re lots of novels written in this way, take Sherlock Holmes for example). The same thing kind of happened in Hirogaru as well. I think that’s because we’re Earthlings so it’s only normal that we relate with her better than with Sora chan Aside from that, I understand the reason why they do not fight but instead hug and purify the garugarus - they don’t want to hurt anyone/anything. And it’s also kinda refreshing. But I’m still looking forward for them fighting once or twice (because if they transform just to HUG and purify things for 45-50 episodes then it’s gonna get boring. Precure is becoming more and more like 90s sailor moon now), while having to learn the fact that sometimes, in order to protect sb/sth, you have to fight first, like what Peach and Eas did. But seeing the child-like, innocent, optimistic vibe of the season, I don’t think something THAT dark’s going to happen🥲

Afterall Laura was basicly the MC of Tropical Rouge from moment one, it's on her that all of the important character development is focused. I think it's a smart idea to separate the roles of MC and lead Cure. It allows for more new stuff byt still makes the marketing work.

I love the fact that this episode gave us character development to Sayoru and Daifuku without our favorite Bunbun not speaking through the use of body language and subtle movements also Daifuku was taking a nap when Satoru went to search for the egg a 2nd time

I am also loving Daifuku and especially Satoru a lot which they are two of my personal favorite characters in Wonderful. It’s surprisingly funny how Satoru’s antics were in this episode but it’s great to see him helping/assisting Niko Garden and etc. (Why I think his voice sounds so angelic, lol!!! 😂) #precure

I know this is a wild theory, but what if Daifuku is Niko-sama? I know we may be thinking that they are the mid-season cure, but when it was stated that Niko-sama disappeared and that the Niko Animals are originally from the human world it made me wonder...

About the name of their pets. Yuki is "Snow". Probably because of her white hair. Daifuku is a Japanese traditional sweets, made of white, fluffy ricecake with red beans inside. Satoru took this name probably because of Daifuku's white, soft body. 😀

I find it a little weird that they're having Wonderful Pretty Cure! move away from battles in exchange for chase action (according to what the Pretty Cure wiki says). Whoever is causing what's happening to all the animals turning into Garugaru monsters, they're gonna have to learn how to fight the possible mastermind that's causing what's going on.

The garugaru this episode didn't run away she/he attack the cures that's why I expect some short physical fight but it didn't happen but I will wait till cure Nyammy debut I think she change the rules 😅😅😅

Dude, unlike the Precious Precure Seasons where Objects were transformed into Monsters, the Garugaru are Real Animals who got Transformed. That the Reason why Toei didn't have Wonderful Precure to got Psysical Fights, the Japanase Kids and thier Parents will see this as a Animal Abuse if they saw the Precure kicking and punching them. PS: Is not going to be the End of the World because a Precure Season don't have a Psysical Fight.

I really like this episode it was very nice and the lore of the season is happening knowing more about the niko garden and also know niko sama took some animals from earth and created the garden for them to live. Seeing daifuku pulling satoru hand from the egg surprised me does he know about the monster in the egg really hope the both of them become cures later in the season. But next week we are going to see yuki and mayu again but Iroha is going to talk to mayu and komugi talking to yuki but let me say yuki is going to be are diva because the way she acts. And I'm a little sad that we didn't have a duo transformation today bur I'm still hoping maybe next week hopefully please toei animate just this once a duo transformation. My wonderful day is when mey mey was mad he became this big puff ball.

I don't see them doing that to be honest. I don't think it fits the timeline either, Satoru is like 13 years old and I don't think Niko has been gone that long. I think he's just going to be a Cure later on or a helper like Takumi. I think he's going to become a Cure together with Daifuku so we get two mid-season cures similar to Hugtto.

I Believe we'll only Get the Mass Amounts of Stock Footage Transformations from Komugi in the Early Episodes, as the Primary Reason for it this Episode was to Emphasise just How Much Strangeness Satoru was being Hit with, to better Show his Reactions to the Situation - Toei will likely try to Average One of Each Stock Transformation per Episode if Needed Otherwise. Personally, the Way things went This Episode seems like it could be Hinting at a 5-Cure Team with a Dark Precure to Rescue to become the 6th: The "Ugly Duckling" Scene, if Meant to Foreshadow like you've Mentioned, gives some Evidence to this, and suggests that the Sixth would be Corrupted by the Antagonist through their Feelings of Being Different and Left Out; this would Be Daifuku, who gets Less and Less Attention as Satoru Focuses on Studying the Niko Animals/Garugaru and Helping Iroha, while possibly Not even Showing Daifuku the Niko Garden; this then Leads to Daifuku being Caught and Transformed by the Eventual Antagonist to Combat the Precure, using their Anger over Being 'Abandoned' to Keep them from being Purified; Daifuku's Corruption is what leads Satoru to gain a Wonderful Pact of his Own, and He's who Eventually has to Show his Love for Daifuku to Purify him... It makes Sense that Satoru's Experience would be the Major Focus of this Episode, and Every Plot Element made sure to give Him Center Stage here - from Showing how he Interacts with Daifuku when Not Around Iroha, to Displaying his more Cautious Approach to dealing with the Garugaru, to His Animal Biology Knowledge being what made Friendy and Wonderful's Purifying of the Kirarin Rabbit much Easier than it Would've Without Him. Being in the Thick of a Garugaru 'Battle' was going to be Inevitable with Satoru's Curiosity, so getting him on-board Sooner rather than Later was Needed for the Series, and acting as a way for Mey Mey to keep Komugi and Iroha's Attention for Important Information assists Them in the Long Run, too! The Next Two Episodes will be Centered around Mayu and Yuki, probably Ending with them Both Simultaneously becoming Precure, and possibly Providing Us with the First of the Villian's Generals - along with the Aquisition and Usage of the Friendly Tacts by Komugi and Iroha! When Cure Nyammy and Cure Lillian get On Board, whe Should have Enough Info to get a Better Prediction on Where the Season's Headed, and How things may Turn Out!

While this one is not as strong in comparison to the previous two episodes so far, this was still a very solid episode in order for us to learn about the lore of Niko Garden, I agree there are times where it dragged out a bit too long at times alongside overusing the stock footage, not to mention that the action scene this time around was one of the weaker ones so far because it partially lacked emotion to me as well but I highly commend on the OST. And one thing I want to mention is that some people are going to find the chases/action scenes boring which I understand why because fighting has been a staple and people are wanting to keep that legacy but in Wonderful Precure, I personally can tell they are avoiding the battles in exchange for the chases which I understand why some wouldn’t want it, they most likely don’t want to cause animal abuse which is still a thing unfortunately. Not to mention that the action scene in episode three wasn’t lackluster because I think it was fine because of Iroha and Satoru respectively but I want to see the action scenes being more emotional and versatile in later episodes considering the lack of emotional aspects holds the chase scene in this specific episode a bit down for me but I still liked the episode. But I am also very excited for the next episode and I wholeheartedly agree that Mayu’s mother is absolutely gorgeous yet I am fangirling over there, giving how cats are more independent and solitary in comparison to dogs, we’re probably going to get humorous scenes for sure!!! #precure 🫠💕😻

Just because Nico-sama named their animals with her name doesn’t mean that they are a narcissist. A misconception of this word is looking in the mirror and self-loving oneself. Instead, this word leans towards more self-loathing in a sub-consciousness way, because when a person is lacking some empathy or self-reflection, and therefore willling to hurt others to get validation or security supply. (Spoilers for StarTwi) In my opinion, the star princesses from star twinkle precure have one of the best execution of this trait. They declared themselves being the justice group that mantains the imagination, but at the same time abolished ophiuchus who disagreeed with them. Also, enabled the precures to fight against the notradians (including their citizens) by pointing them as villains. And when fuwa sacrificed herself, they dimissed her in a calm attitude (that was the scary part) as she “had served her purpose” in front of the cures. And lastly, they didn’t have a change in heart after the incident in ep 48. And this is the exact ‘force’ that stop people/characters from changing.

We Already know that Niko-Sama is Still Around, and Disappeared at the Time the Garden was Attacked - Mey Mey states this in the Episode and is Afraid of Being Scolded when Niko-Sama returns, so it's Clear they were Alive and Well at that Point!
