amazingly most of the other videos tell you to cut that tounge off, which I thought was unnecessary. I think your way makes the most sense.

Personally, I would have put the saw @ 1 Deg to facilitate the re-installation. Other than that? Well done!

Good job a good trick is when you get to the end cut a y into the board to the corners the Little Triangle pop-out better than that square

Does this work with a 'floating floor" that has soft vapor barrier underneath? Or will the movement on wear and tear make the glued end pop up?

that floor is beautiful. What kind is it?

It Mohawk and it's JUNK. We had this floor installed in our home in 2015 and within a year it was splintering and bubbling up. Had 80 single boards replaced by manufacturer and can't wait to replace my whole floor. Will never buy Mohawk again. Going to use this video to see if we can replace 8 more boards that have went bad (two have serious bubbles). Wish this guy was in Georgia because I'd have him come to my house!

how do you fix glued together engineered wood floating floor?
@anthonyvallario75612 жыл бұрын
Same concept once you get the board out the tongue will be still glued in the groove you got to take a router with 1/8 inch bit cut a New Groove then make a new tongue and glue it in

Have you ever had to replace a board you already repaired? Obviously be glued may damage other boards taking back up.

I gotta get an oscillating saw.

They are great. I have 5 or 6 different oscillating saws from Festool to Fein but I find that we use our Dewalt the most because its cordless.

Great video indeed, but the camera movement is EXTREMELY annoying!

Fought motion sickness watching this video. Why move around so much? Thanks for the tutorial though!
