Put a metal can with one stack that you could cook on with the door on the other side, so it also acts like a fire pit and have seating area

Only you Gene! You guys are crazy. The video looked a lot easier than actually carrying the tub and gear. Nice trick how your Dad left a strap on each piece of firewood as a handle; smart man! Last thing, having your hands in the ice cold water fixing the pipe must have been brutally cold, but you were rewarded when you got into a 94.5 degree hot tub in the woods! God bless you and your family Gene.

ReviewOutdoorGear, That reminds me Gene that I need to order that awesome knife you used to open the K02 knife sharpener. Hope you still have them for sale. Good use for the stimulus checks we’re getting. That knife literally cut cardboard like I’ve never seen before. Best of luck and God Bless to you and your Dad, the firewood strap king!

Those joints on the plastic slick line are best held together with a nipple and steel band from a pipe banding tool. They are super simple to use. BTW this looks a lot like North Idaho

Thanks guys! I plan on doing this at my place in the high desert of Arizona. Gets to the teens during the winter and I was wondering if I could heat up the tub if the weather was that cool. I have lots of sun so I plan on using a longer coil and solar pump to speed up heating.

Yes. I recently heated the tub in about 12F weather with ice in the water. It took about 4.5-5.0 hours.

Nice work! Watch out for debris sticking to your feet, could plug up the thermal siphon, could be a disaster and very dangerous if someone is next to the inlet port

@@comehoot12345678 I’m thinking if it’s blocked and water doesn’t flow then water could turn to steam and blow out after pressure builds??
