Wood turning an Old School Policeman's Truncheon from Redwood

In this video I take a piece of an old redwood railroad tie and turn it down into a wooden baton, modeled on a typical old school policeman's truncheon like those you see British police carrying in old-school movies.
These can be super fun and easy lathe projects for beginners wanting to practice their skills
