That was a very good tutorial. I’m 76 and until just now have never seen how bandsaw boxes were made. Very neat. Very simple. I’m itching to buy a bandsaw and do some projects that a bandsaw makes possible. Thanks for this!

Is that a 1/4" blade that you are using?

Does the drawer tolerance get messed up when pinching & glueing the entry cut back together on the shell?

It shouldn't. The entry cut should only be 1 saw kerf wide while the space around the drawer will be 2 saw kerfs.

Great presentation!. What size blade did you use? I just got my first bandsaw with a 3/8" bland and changing a blade on it something I'm not looking forward to doing---for awhile. Thank you!

A good universal blade for bandsaw boxes is a 3/16 4-6 skip tooth.

I got scared looking at it. Not turning of the bandsaw when you are so close with your hands when not sawing was scary. Nice video otherwise 👍

it makes me so nervous, that he's not turning off the saw, when drawing on the box and explaining everything. The blade is right next to his hand
