This was my fisrt attempt at woodturning a tri-corner bowl from a cube. I used my last piece of 8/4 walnut scrap to make this piece. Even though I had some issues with the pressure pot, I am very pleased with how this piece turned out. I was a little nervous about turning a cube mounted on the corners, but in the end I was nervous for no resean. This was a fun piece that pushed the limits of my comfort zone. After seeing the finished product in my hands, I have some better ideas for how I would make this style piece next time. As always, thank you for watching and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Mistakes happen at the worst possible time; however, I see nothing but a piece of art that deserves its own pedestal in an art gallery. What an epic piece you crafted. Am still in awe at your creativity.

I understand why you say "mistakes were made" but seeing what you've done I can't help thinking that one person's "mistake" is another's object of beauty. Thanks for sharing! 👏👏👏👍👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Great results! I'm glad it worked out so well, thanks to your skilled repair. I have never been able to get my pressure pot to hold properly to the point that when I used to cast I would leave my compressor on and the regulator set so that it had unlimited reservoir of air until it had cured.

Outstanding Sir. Beautiful Walnut. Blue was a great choice and the resin is understated, doesn't overshadow beautiful wood. Amazing work. I'd be interested in this piece if you ever decide to market them. Thanks

And the moral of this story is, next time you clean and reseal the valves on the pressure pot, test the seals before using the pot.
