I love this piece. The black walnut with the birds eye maple is a great contrast. Like a yin/yang. Or if you will excuse the nerd in me, like the dark side and the light side of the force in Star Wars. I like the larger base. Less opportunity for it to fall over. The Epoxy is beautiful. This is one of my favorites of your fine work. The woods balance each other perfectly. The orange, hypershift and pearl create an excellent counterpoint to the woods. The vertical 'rings' keep the eyes moving, encouraging them to notice more fine points of the piece. Stunning!
