Truly breathtaking, David! Watching you think out, adjust, create, and put on finishing touches to your creations is startling! That you could somehow see the transformation in your mind is beyond me. How does that happen? I’m guessing it’s years of experience plus an assortment of successes and failures along the way. It took me a while to get it bit the shape was that like a Hershey Kiss candy. Love the contrast colors of the wood. That dark rich color is so eye alluring. Very stunning piece that God has blessed your creative mind with.

What a joy it has been to watch your work for the last 2 years. The woodwork, as always, is fantastic. Your attention to detail following the shape and grain is exquisite. Your photography for this piece really took my breath away. The angles, the closeups of the tip of the tool, the depth of field, the sharpness.
