I'm amazed that you can look at raw piece of wood and see what you will turn it into be before you even start to work on it. A true gift. Your videos are very entertaining. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

I've seen you make a lot of beautiful stuff, David. I do believe this one tops them all. And perhaps it's just my own prejudice, but I love the fact that no epoxy was used in the making of this masterpiece. Superb!

I've watched quite a few turning videos lately and I found a few that are very good, especially finishing etc. Technique is one thing, But yours are just a feast for the eyes! Oh and might I add how fortunate we are that you also make great vids documenting it. ❤❤🎵🎵

I would give this to my future wife to house her ring, “ just like this wood I want our bond to grow old and blossom into something desirable despite the age” this is what I gather from this video if it were my possession to obtain. You stir emotion with your videos sir without a word “you have a strong positive spirit about you” thank you……..!

Truly breathtaking, David! Watching you think out, adjust, create, and put on finishing touches to your creations is startling! That you could somehow see the transformation in your mind is beyond me. How does that happen? I’m guessing it’s years of experience plus an assortment of successes and failures along the way. It’s a family gift that’s been passed on for generations…..right? Thank you for sharing. It’s given me a bit of new perspective of the world around me…. especially after watching the “olive disaster.” I’m sure the price tag on these creations is exorbitant, so I’ll just keep on with your videos, of which I’ve only seen two so far! 😊

What a joy it has been to watch your work for the last 2 years. The woodwork, as always, is fantastic. Your attention to detail following the shape and grain is exquisite. Your photography for this piece really took my breath away. The angles, the closeups of the tip of the tool, the depth of field, the sharpness. It wasn't until it was over that I realized your camera and the tool tip took turns shaping the wood. You're a master :). Awesome! Thanks Adam!
