IT IS + Weather - English Lesson

English lesson about how to talk about the weather by using:
-- IT IS + Adjective
-- IT IS + Verb-ING
We learn the difference between the two forms.
For example... What is the difference between...
-- It is RAINY.
-- It is RAINING.
It is + adjective = A description of the weather
It is + verb-ing = This type of weather is happening now.
We give more examples of each type of weather.
You can also use IT IS in different tenses.

If I say " it is windy" , how can I use this adjective in ING form? For others adjectives I feel comfortable while using: it is raining, it is snowing, but when it comes to "windy " I always get in trouble.

There isn't a verb form for wind. We use "to blow" instead. The wind is blowing very hard right now. ... OR ... The wind is strong right now.
