Look, I’m as optimistic as the next Lions faithful and I’m also realistic. A lot of people are acting as if we have scrubs on defense. We got Branch (Dawg) Amik (Dawg) Kerby (Dawg) Campbell (Dawg) Reader (Dawg) iffy will be back and most importantly the guy who could’ve single handedly changed the outcome of the Bills game Anzalone(Dawg) And let’s not forget who our DC is in AG. We nearly overcame a 21 point deficit to win this game. Josh Allen was worried on the sidelines. But I think we needed this L and I also think we need to get the 1 seed to get some guys healthy. I think our team with all the injuries is still top 2 in chances to win the whole thing. Gibbs will turn it up for DMo. Our players play for each other. St. Brown had food poisoning and had a career high game. These Lions will eat.

HUGE point you just made is "Anzalone would have single handedly changed the Bills game" and I strongly believe that. People overlook how much he couldve did. Let's say he was in. We could've stopped AT LEAST one of the bills' touchdowns, then you know what that means.

@ Alex has been all over the field all season. Notice how we started giving up more rush yards per game and mid range pass completions once he got hurt. The man is everywhere and even if he doesn’t make the play, offenses have to honor his presence on the field. I believe that we can rally the troops, get this 1st round bye and have a much better situation on our hands. I think Anzalone could potentially return for the Vikings game if I understood correctly.

Lions are never going to quit. NEVER QUIT NEVER SURRENDER. This is an army mentality. One of the guys go down and the soldiers that are still healthy need to fight harder for the fallen soldiers.

Ben Johnson knows what it takes to have a winning team. He commented about the need to have ownership, GM and all your coaches on the same page and not every organization is willing to do that. Do you think Jerry Jones would allow him to pick his own coaches and players?

Sports Commentators believe that Dan Campbell's speeches does not compensate for what the players need to do on the field and the next man up also can not compensate for the loss of that many starters. We will see. Each game is different. The Bills also gave up over 80 points in two games and they were more motivated because they loss to the Rams the week before and I think that matters. The Lions will come out swinging against the Bears and it will be a start to see how they play the game.

I love Dan Campbell the lions are the best team in the nfl

The biggest concern to me is the defense. The offense should show up & if the defense is steady there is a major reason to be optimistic for the last 2 games; even though the degree of difficulty will escalate with each successive opponent. Just can’t come out flat on either side & get exploited on defense and will be fine.
@SickVendetta6 сағат бұрын
Anybody else starting to think that Campbell is pushing these boys too hard? That's why we have almost triple the amount of the players on IR then the next team. I love homeboy but I'm starting to question some of his tactics. I've never seen so many players get put on IR in just one year. It's insane. We probably have the record for that like we do with every other terrible stat
@timwalsh89546 сағат бұрын
No, you don't get horrific bone breaks, ACL tears, MCL tears, from being pushed.
@ghxstreborn6 сағат бұрын
@@SickVendetta No this is nonsense. These guys give it 100% rather were up 20 or down 20. Injuries are part of the game. These boys put their bodies on the line because they want that superbowl. And I guarantee that if Coach Campbell could lace up and get on that field with them then he’d be first in line to do so.
@TheLmoney4205 сағат бұрын
Not at all, played the same way last season and didn’t have really any bad injuries. This is just something that happens in the NFL, sometimes teams get bit by the injury bug. This just happens to be horrific timing. This is exactly why the second half of that 49ers game was so devastating last season. Because it’s hard to get to that point of the season as healthy as they were.

Don't understand how everybody is up in arms? Lions will win the Superbowl period. They are fine
@greasee.monkey722446 минут бұрын
I still think the Lions have a great shot at the Super Bowl. We could have beat the Bills if we showed up in the first quarter. I think Minnesota will be a tough game, but winnable. We beat them at their house, now we need it at Ford Field. This won't be easy, but it's doable.

St. Brown don’t fumble and we move 91 & 93 from DE to tackle and we go to a 5-2 we can win that game

I guess we'll see..... Ultimately this team (this season) will go down as the most incredulous story of a team stricken by insurmountable bad luck, if you believe in that. An NFL organization that is cursed. An organization that will continue to be viewed as not ready to be taken seriosly. An organization that can put together a highly respected front office and coaching staff, make incredibly successful draft picks, pull off shrewd trades as if this was all destiny in the making. Only to have it come crashing down before it even takes off. Or Will this years Detroit Lions team be a story of a team coming together based purely on the vision, personality, leadership and timing of the front office and most importantly, in my opinion, a Head Coach that is, without a doubt, the ONLY man that could've pulled this off! Will it be a team that will continue on together as if fighting side-by-side as brothers in arms? Will they have it in them to dig deeper, to push even harder, to Will these men ignore all of the stories of past and defy the suggestions that this years team is no different? Can they ignore, thereby not be effected/deterred by the naysayers? The ones that find comfort in regurgitating a slogan that we here in Detroit have had to engulf for SIX DECADES. S O L Same Ol' Lions🫤 To arrive at a place where all of the things stacked against them will have had purpose. The purpose being, to believe in themselves! Your talent allows you the interview but your desire, your hard work, your determination, your belief in your coaches, your heart, your true grit get you this close to hoisting the Lombardy. No matter what the results of this season turn out to be, I'm still gonna be a true fan of the Silver and Honolulu Blue!!! I guess we'll see.....

The Vikings and Eagles offenses aren’t nearly as good as the Bills either, the Bills offense is head and shoulders above both of those teams so I think we could stop those teams at least a few times, but we’ll see. We can win shootouts against those teams with subpar QBs
