Hollywood stars Woody Harrelson and Andy Serkis are joined by Louisa Harland in a black comedy by David Ireland. Life imitates art when Woody Harrelson plays a Hollywood star about to perform in a play in London. Does he put on a better performance than his hypocritical egocentric character? Lord Of The Rings star Andy Serkis plays a director who will say and do anything in order for the play to succeed. Louisa Harland from Derry Girls, and seen recently in Dancing At Lughnasa, is the playwright.
Jeremy Herrin (Best Of Enemies, A Mirror) directs this menacing farce about male hypocrisy and the exploitation of women. Set design is by Max Jones.
Ulster American was at Riverside Studios in London until 27 January 2024.
