How do people come up with these guess lists? I'm trying to write a program to come up with optimal 3 guesses, but it's so slow. Have to check every combination, so O(n^3), then check the combination against every possible solution (O(n^4)), and then check every solution against every other solution to make sure the encoding is unique, so O(n^5) Obviously there's some ways to shave some words or divide by a constant but I'd like to know if someone more clever has found a way to reduce the order of magnitude

Im starting to like this technique more than the Fjord waltz quick nymph gybes technique because those letters has two a's. But the problem is there is no J

@@ToastGreeting fjord is by far the best starting, F isn't great and J is rare, plus it doesn't have a E or an A I like starting with soare, even if T is more common than S i feel like the positions for soare are better

they cover a good spread of letters + those letters are in positions so that they're more likely to turn green and give me more info

better starting words that use up 25 unique letters waqfs, vozhd, brick, jumpy, glent

You use up more letters but the placemend of those letters is not their average placement in words, so it takes longer to figure them out.

It's better to test positions for common letters than use rare letters like J, X, Z

"FAVER SLIMY PODGE BRUNT WHACK" isn't that good because there are several repeating letters, which is why it's really hard to fully optimize 25 different letters in a word. It's easier to do 20 letters with 4 words because then there are some cases where some letters don't overlap at all
