I don't consider myself a "vlog" person. At all. I am definitely not a chatterbox and prefer to script my videos.
And although this format did push me out of my comfort zone...I also enjoyed finding a way to make this vlog and still lean into what comes most naturally to me as a content creator. That's why many portions of the video are scripted and narrated with a voiceover.
Is the video going to get lots of views? Probably not.
Was it worth filming it? Absolutely YES!
I adored documenting my content creation process as a small part-time KZbinr, sprinkling some story-telling here and there all while trying to make it informative for you watching.
The takeaway?
Push yourself out of your comfort zone, as that's when we grow the most. But always do so by staying true to yourself, versus how you think "it should be done".

This is indeed very heartwarming and very wonderful and very beautiful and this brings back such great memories of when I use to be a 90s kid and an early 2000s kid and I am a new subscriber as well:).

I just started my KZbin channel less than a week ago. I'm so scared no one will watch and I will just die in a KZbin graveyard. It's hard! Thanks for the video!

I feel you! The start of a new channel is always a little slow. A week is really early though! But that's also a good thing so we can experiment when not a lot of people are watching 🙃 Is your channel a vlog/lifestyle one? Do you have a particular vision for it? ps. I have lots of videos planned on how to grow an audience through your content, can't wait to share more!
