I was grateful to learn what a "gouache" is because the intro of the video had me like "we're looking at a what now?" 😅 Henry Luce was busy! Those are some major publications he was responsible for... I've already worn my heart on my sleeve about (perceived) hiring discrimination the other day. it's definitely been on my mind more these past few months than ever. Hooray for progress, but...

Educational - I knew of the residential racism/segregation but didn't realize as of 1942 factories were still so highly segregated. Also was not familiar with the media baron of Luce.

Interesting 🙂 I understood the great migration to mean that African Americans who migrated from the south regions were actually landing the opportunities they sought.
