Your insight your was very useful. I just applied for 2 teller jobs right now at 2am lol. I had quite a few questions and this answered 90% of them. Thanks, Desiree. The only other question I have is does this job "go home with you"? Are there any sort of tasks, projects, or unexpected objectives that extended outside of normal working hours? For instance, I was a librarian for over a year. My employers never told me this during this in the hiring process, but I actually became responsible for creating program plans...this was essentially a research and presentation task that was near impossibly to work on during business hours unless I was given time off the front desk. Therefore, I had to work on it at home a couple of hours per week every 3 months. I prefer to leave work at work. Hope this makes sense. Also I totally love your hair, it's very pretty on you !

Hello Desiree, my question is are you forced to open accounts to meet your goal and is your job at risk for not meeting those goals.

hi! as a teller you’re not forced to open accounts. as a banker, it’s not so much as open accounts but their job is based on how much money they can bring in to the bank whether that be by bringing in new accounts or forming deeper relationships with customers

Very likely because it’s not a labor intensive job. Men being stronger than women will gravitate to harder jobs that women won’t and can’t do. A lot of the time bank cashiers have nothing going on so it’s a labor easy job in an AC environment. It really isn’t that hard to know why really.
