I work in constructions, I understand emergency lights are red in color because only red light, with the longest wavelength, doesn't not affect human night vision. means, when it was dark, red light color can enable you to see most.

We actually learned about this in my cinematography class, and green is the preferred color! Red breaks down rhodsopin slower (which preserves our ability to perceive light, which in turns preserves our "natural" night vision) but green allows us to see more detail! The list we learned about went green, blue, and then red.

That's why we used red light filters to read maps at night in the marine corps.

Body farms are a real thing, with less scary outcomes. People can donate their bodies to body farms to be used for research. It's to research things like decomposition in different situations, study insect life stages that decompose the corpses, and so on. It helps in forensics to be able to pinpoint how much time a body has been sitting before It's found. The weather, location, and insect life stages can tell a lot about where someone has died and how long before they were found. I use to take criminal justice classes and I wanted to work on the body farm in Knoxville, Tennessee, but it never panned out. It's interesting stuff though.
@prawnchips94613 жыл бұрын
i saw a documentary once about coroner's work and they can determine when and how a body died based on fly's eggs they found in the body's airways. That's very cool, just like in a mystery movie. But the documentary still shows coroners' respect to the bodies.
