I don’t know why, but I could smell everything in that video. The farm in summer, the splitting of wood, the grease that’s about on machines, the heat in the grass, and the cooking of chicken on the grill.. you unlocked a lot of childhood memories. These are always a pleasure to watch. As always, thank you Pete.

We remember back when wings were the .03 cents a lb. Some of the local watering holes had .10 cent wing night in the early 1990s. That's when they started to become more popular. Hello all from Siesta Key Florida

We love it when ol' "what's her name" graces us with her presence. Poor Hilarie, getting all of this attention. LOL The new feeding station in the barn addition is lookin' good! A gate is a good thing there at the end. Mmmm... love me some yard bird wangs. I like that recipe, looks good. Those cattle always "give thanks" as you send 'em out onto new grass. We could learn a lot from the animals.

I think the only person I have ever met that I never forgot her name is the one I married. I was nearly knocked out once by a wishing board and the first thought that I could clearly identify was her. I wouldn't even dare to pretend that I couldn't remember her name because my last view would be her knocking me into the next century.

Pete - it isn't insect damage in your walnut. It is the pith of the wood and it is a series of chambers in walnuts. They all have chambered pith. It is a way to positively identify walnuts.

I've worked at several companies that had dust collecting drill doctors. Because they couldn't get them to work. Well at the first one I sat down with the thing and figured it out. If you know how, they actually work VERY WELL. The other two places couldn't believe their eyes when I started sharpening bits. So I taught everyone how to use it. The new addition sure is nice. I'm looking forward to seeing it in action!

You should think about blocking those space adjoining to the pillars on the cattle panels. They can get their heads stuck. My grandad and me had to take down a panel with a cow stuck in it like that. We just marked out a piece of ply wood the same shape of that area and covered it.

Hillary: you’re a SAINT for putting up with Pete’s’s jokes… I’m sure you’ve had much more than we’ve seen on videos over your marriage. I really commend you for being a partner with him as you guys organize the new barn and clean up things. I know many women who would never help their husband with those type of jobs! I think you truly are a saint, and you have a nice smile.😊❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ Pete: I sure enjoy learning how you cook your food out on the grill and give us new recipes. I always get hungry watching you grill out!! Why does Horton have such a strange Bellow? He sounds as if he has congested lungs but I’m sure that’s not the case. I grew up around cattle, and I never heard a bull sound like him .!! I’d be interested in what you had to say regarding that issue. Pete, I like how you’re getting your tractors all lined up in a row in the new barn area!! It looks really stunning already and I know it’ll look better when you’re completely done God bless you both! , Thank you for your wonderful videos❣️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I learned to hand sharpen drill bits back in the early 70's. I use a grinder, with a clean dressed wheel. The last shop I worked in, purchased a Drill Doctor. There was no way you could properly sharpen a bit on the thing, even if you just wanted to cut wood. I suggested returning it, but it's been collecting dust in the corner for about 18 years now.

And what do they go bonkers for? 2- Show us how you guys clean the big solar panels from snowfalls, dirt, and dead insects. 3- Share with us the amazing summer fruits and vegetables you eat, like sweet corn, melons, and giant tomatoes. Be sweet to Hillary. No need to call her crazy names. She's the special part of every episode. Best, Noah Abrams Los Angeles

Pete to take the wings up a notch, after you put the sauce on them, put them back on the grill for a few minutes. Then put them back in the sauce. I make my sauce the same way and they come out just right for me. Since I learned that little trick I always do it that way. OK so now I need to go cook some wings. Thanks for the videos and enjoy cuz.

As a Artisan it was part of training to sharpen drill bits. To do it all in one move your hand to be steady . The softer the stuff you drill the sharper it should be like a spear and the clearance beyond the cutting edge should be in place otherwise it wont cut what ever you drill

That wood splitter brings back some memories. I helped, well not sure how much help I was but I was there when my dad built one from mostly what he had in the “scrap pile”. It had a V4 air cooled Wisconsin engine from an old “Long” brand square baler, hydraulic pump from a old backhoe, a control valve from an old JD dozer and old wore out cylinder from who knows what. That first version was modified and improved on multiple times through the years. The “final version” had 8 hp Briggs with new two stage pump and fancy auto return control valve with a larger hydraulic cylinder from “Red”, an army surplus/scrap guy from the next county over. Never knew what the cylinder was from except military surplus. That thing was a beast don’t remember it ever not splitting or cutting through anything that was put in it, at least that’s the way I remember it. Who knows how many chords of wood went through it just for us and it was borrowed quite a few time over the years by friends and family. Y’all enjoy the cooler days while they last. Thanks again for the reminder of some great memories.
