Karl, you take whatever time you need to rest. We as you viewers want the best for you. Love ya videos and wanted to follow up with my build. I’m having my 10x26 shed delivered next week. Looking forward to getting it and having something to sleep in during deer season. Would have like to go bigger width wise but our 2 track going in is winding and it’s through a bunch of private land. It’s not possible to cut and widen. Thanks for your dreams and videos because it made my dreams possible! Jim Bechtel

As always, I love what you’re doing and am always thankful that you share your life with us ! I’m 53 and my life has been doing commercial landscaping and plowing. It would blow your mind the amount of ticks I’ve taken off and pulled out of myself since they became an issue ! The issues with Lyme run deep and affect people similarly but yet differently at the same time. I’ve not seen any studies on this and I’ve looked but : since I started keto I cant tell you the difference it has made not only in my weight which is unbelievable but also in the other “ Lyme “ related issues throughout my entire body ! Believe it or not they’ve 99% disappeared !!! No flare ups that travel from joints to joints or regular random external or internal body aches ! I’m not young but I’m very active even outside what I do for a living and I mostly can attribute aches and pains to work I’ve done a day or two before but it’s nothing like it was before keto. I really think the carbs and processed foods are feeding the Lyme. As a plumber you’re very active and it’s jumped from soreness you can put an activity or job you did to why ? Why am I so sore and completely freakin wiped out ?!!?!? That’s why I’ve stuck with it and do occasionally allow myself some extras but if it’s too much I know because those issues start creeping back in. And it’s debilitating especially if you’re self employed ! I’ve never shared that thought about that connection with anyone but I know you’ve done keto in the past and I thought that sharing it might help. Take care Karl. Let me know if you have any more questions.

I am amazed at watching your videos Karl. Although I never see myself being a video content creator, I am amazed thinking about what you have to go through to share these updates. And when you are alone without someone to hold/move/and position the camera, that consumes a lot of time. I'd be like trying to not look like an idiot. LOL Anyways, thanks again for sharing an update. I feel what you are going through. When I first started watching this weeks episode.... I thought I was watching "Hill Billy Villa" program. Loved it! Take care of yourself and your family first, Don't feel pressured from your subscribers. We all are human and have been there. Brooke and I are headed up for a couple days today to organize for the cold weather coming and bring the pickup back on Wednesday, but will be back up for the weekend before Halloween.

Thanks for watching Keith !! I thought it would be cool to include the Amish friends that we have in Cecil. They truly are great people. I greatly appreciate your kind words. I think it would be cool to do a video on how much goes into producing a KZbin video 😂🤣😂. For a simple 20 minute video I bet you I have easily 24 to 32 hours into making it. It’s definitely a labor of love. Heaven knows we never will get rich off of it. Have an awesome week brother, don’t forget to take care of yourself.

I just put a motion sensing light in my back yard. It turned on last night, shining in my bedroom window. This morning, I find deer tracks in my back yard, just feet from my window! No camera so no pictures, but how cool is that!

I remember when you bit by a deer tick both times. I'm sorry that you have to go through the health issues from the Lyme disease. Da wife and I send our thoughts and prayers to you. Also thanks for the tip on using denatured alcohol on your finger when smoothing out silicone. I get that shit all over my hands when I do that. 😂 Have a great week and get some rest. Shower house is coming along nicely Karl. Hopefully your flair up has passed. Wonder if the weather changes has anything to do with it. My hands/fingers have already reminded me. Was impressed by how long of a board you were cutting with ease. Do you have any thing planned for the gap up top between the cabin and the shower house. I know you want to keep the 2 separate but was thinking of rainy weather 🤷🏽 if that’s even a concern for you guys.
@karlsoffthegrid1378
@karlsoffthegrid1378 Жыл бұрын
It doesn’t seem like weather has too much to do with it, the aches and pains just kind of come and go. We have no plans as far as that gap is concerned we’re not too worried about whatever little water might come through there. Our bigger concern Was to be able to level the two buildings separately. If I were to connect the two I think we would have problems. Have an awesome week Don!!

Lyme disease is nasty. You can get reinfected. A good course of antibiotics is needed each time to kill the spirochete. Causes an arthritis that can cause damage. Untreated it can effect other body systems. Best wishes Karl. Prayers for you buddy.

Was wondering what kind of pin nailer you were using at 5:00 that had two hoses leading in to it. Took a second till I realized it was just the low in the sky October sun throwing shadows against the wall.

Looks great. My son purchased a cabin and we are planning a similar shower room. How did you decide the height difference for the pitch. I am also not a carpenter what so ever. We built an open outdoor shower and we are going to rebuild and enclose it for winter use. Thanks

I am a plumber by trade, but both of my sons are carpenters. They suggested that I had at least 2 foot a drop with all of the snow that we get in our area. that should be enough pitch to let all the snow come off. Good luck with your build. Thank you for watching.

I’m as guilty as anyone being out in the woods without deet on, and it should be used daily when out. They also make a spray for just your clothes, I think it’s called permethrin. It’s good for 6-8 washes before you have to treat them again. Don’t put it on your skin. Ticks are really bad here in Ohio. Take care!
@karlsoffthegrid1378

We have them everywhere. Up in the Northwoods, we usually see small groups of 15 to 20 birds. In southern Wisconsin on my brothers farm we usually see groups of 50-100 birds in the fall while were deer hunting.
