99% of the time I prefer Jessica's photos over all guests, but this time I really liked Iva's. The colors, the weirdness, it was great! And the model was so fun and sweet 💕

I love Iva's photos. She was so creative with the limited time, but produced a mix of captivating and high fashion shots that really intrigue me. Awesome job by the model too.

this is so cute. i love the model's look too and jessica picked some really interesting environments for her aw, the ending was cute! g'luck with continuing to study japanese, jessica! i was hoping there'd be a clip where u met up with the model again and spoke some unassisted japanese with her and surprised her xD

She’s so cute! Loved the locations! Loved both ideas. Both had two different vibes but were both vibes! The bush pic was risky but ended up coming out as one of my favorites!

Jessica you’re so tiny I didn’t know you were part of the short girlie gang too, the model was so beautiful that all the photos were lovely! 🖤
@Retroseppe11 ай бұрын
Jess needs to incorporate more story telling in her photos. Even tho this is a time challenge, each image just looks like she told them “hey stand here.” And then just take the picture.
@jetblack825010 ай бұрын
yeah it feels like the model is carrying the photo. If the most interesting thing about a photo is the model then the photographer has done something wrong.
@amberhultz83637 ай бұрын
@jetblack8250 The model is the most important part of the photo. This isn't ANTM, You don't want the background to outshine the model. So the model better be the most interesting part of the photo.

Omg! So cool that you committed to learning the language in Japan. I love that idea. ❤ I love the difference in tone between the two shoots with yours using complimentary colors and warmer tones and Iva using a cool toned green and blue color palette and forced perspective. Plus I am a sucker for editorial style flash photography

I like Iva's photos a lot more, not a fan of the flash look or the editing of Jessica's, but that's the beauty of photography, everyone has their own style

This was fun to watch! I think I'll have to give this to Iva, although Jessica went for more varied backdrops and poses, I prefer the coloring of Iva's photos. And I really like the close-up side-profile she took of Niina. :D

The spoken language of Japanese is fairly easy once you forget about trying to translate it in your head and think in ideas and not words. The written language is difficult. Learning Japanese will show you how much language affects thought.
@NorthernRealmJackal11 ай бұрын
This is true for every secondary language ever, so I highly doubt Japanese is "fairly easy" compared to any other language.
@dangilmore972411 ай бұрын
@@NorthernRealmJackal Well, fairly easy compared to Magyar and Finnish.
@Whydoisuddenlyneedahandlewtf11 ай бұрын
It’s literally ranked the hardest language for English speakers to learn.
@dangilmore972411 ай бұрын
@Whydoisuddenlyneedahandlewtf and that is because language determines how you think and reason. The trick is to "forget" your native language, so to speak, when learning a new language. Trying to learn a language by using comparable grammar and syntax analogs slows the process down.

I’m also learning Japanese right now but with Duolingo! I’ve basically learned all of hiragana but I still need to learn katakana and I’m terrified of having to learn kanji lol but it’s been exciting so far and I’m planning to go to Japan for the first time in the summer this year so it’s super exciting and also cool to recognize some of the words and phrases I’ve been learning in this video 😊

Nice video ! That was funny 😂 I have a question: I have a 250D and I started photography about 1 year ago with it. I'm satisfied with my camera in general but I really struggle with my OVF. It has only 9 AF points so it's often harder to get things in focus in OVF so I started using the LCD more and more since it can AF on all the screen... I don't know if there's something I can do about the OVF AF system to feel better about it or if I'm just doing the right thing while switching to the LCD everytime. Also, I will be glad to get some advices on how to expose your photos while shooting with the OVF since it's just a mirror at some point and I often find myself with an under- or overexposed picture at home... Thanks for the great content anyway !

as a Cosplayer i can relate jessica expirents here. I travel a lot and i struggle the first with some photographer too. But it was quick easy to understand how to pose. Even back in my younger years my English was not that good. haha But when i went to a country where my shooting partner speak no english it was more a challenge. Somehow it turns out good, with a lot of bodily language. When the Google Translate not working well. haha

A few years ago, I was doing a photoshoot with a girl who only spoke Polish or Romanian or something like that. It can be hard when you don't have a language in common... (but this girl looked pretty smart though, I like her) At one point I was trying to ask her to bend through her knees a bit. She thought I asked to lower her pants :')

I'm sure I'm not getting the full picture here, but... Did the translator actually make any effort? 😂 It seems like she left y'all hanging in all the scenes you three were together. I was waiting, like... Okay now is the part where you speak... 😂 The way she made a comment about Jessica could have tried harder to speak Japanese.... Hello, why do you think you are there!! Plus Jessica totally made an effort, sans Internet.
@chapplepeach2911 ай бұрын
Plus it totally makes sense you needed to use all your focus on getting the photos in the time limit, rather than practicing Japanese! ❤❤❤ I love that you do try to speak to each other though! You're so respectful AND funny. 😊

Okay I did not realize she is also a photographer. I thought she was solely a translator. My thoughts still stand lol. Unless she wasn't supposed to help you?? But I thought she was. Maybe I'm confused haha.
