Awesome video mate, I had no idea about campers but with your video I now know so much more. Thank you

We are on the hunt to hopefully purchase our first Jayco next year. We’ll be buying second hand so this has been super helpful. Really keen for the next video as well. Thank you!

Cheers mate. When we bought our 2008 Eagle we couldn't find one with everything we wanted so we factored into the budget the cost to retro fit 1 fiamma awning 2 hot water system 3 shower. Now after 5 years we have just added lithium and solar plus a jackajay system. Diesel heater is next on the list

We went straight to the expanda in 2004 due to bench height. Great thorough run though mate👍

Hey mate was just at the Brisbane Caravan show 2 days ago and was informed by the Jayco sales staff that the Eagle is no longer available to purchase brand new, as the camper trailers need to get a certain amount of sales per year which the eagle did not meet and was therefore discontinued. Hope this helps

Thanks. Very helpful! Any ideas why some 2024 models have an angled front box lid, compared to the flat squared-off lid? The angled lid seems way less practical. I hope the square lid continues.

We have a 2019 Outback Hawk and as you touched on with that year access to the front boot is difficult once bed had been set up. Lid isn't able to raise fully if you need to remove larger items.

Get a tourer with underslung axle

Great video! Some questions (if you please): 1. Can you get the undersink hot water shower on the Swift? (I believe the Lark is the smallest van they’ll do it in from Jayco - but maybe aftermarket is possible?) 2. Is the bed on the Penguin/Wren (non slide out) family a double only rather than a queen? 3. I heard you can get an underslung axel on the touring models and raise the ride height. Any comments on ‘how’ much off roading is possible? (I’d like to do some light off-roading) 4. Can you get a 12V Air Con? I’ve seen some on US videos but unsure if they’re any good or not. Also, FWIW, a Jayco salesman told me they will be dropping the Eagle next year. A shame given it seems like the biggest camper that fits in the average garage and still gets the club lounge and wardrobe Thanks again for such an amazing video! 🎉😊
