I love these guys because they're genuine. The guy asked if he should buy another program and they said no stick to what you're doing and stick to the program and trust the process. I tell my clients all the time "it's a marathon not a sprint"

Encouraging but I've been working out for almost 4 months and have gained weight. I can lift more though.

Im 288lbs tracking meticulously 2000 a day and losing 1.5 lbs per week. Walking 10k steps a day and lifting weights. You can dip pretty low to speed up fat loss.

Well, more isn't always better. Losing weight that fast can be unhealthy. And by cutting that low, you're accelerating the rate of your metabolism lowering. Watch out for that plateau...

3,000 calories is a lot. I don’t think he’s burning calories like he thinks he is. Especially at 30% body fat

What would u do if u were in my situation. Be at maintenance for 1-2 months more and start cutting for summer or just start the Cut now? If cutting would u recommend a short period of verry low calories? 2000etc I eat about 3-3200 at the moment not gaining or losing weight. Tired of the extra fat im carrying but i also want to set my self up for summer correctly. I lost some of the muscel i used to have so i want a bit back but overall im not looking to get bigger just maintain at a lean level and athletic muscular. Info about me; 28 years Old, 96kg, 190cm, about 20-23% bf. Training fullbody 2-3 times a week and Walk 10k steps on all weekdays Thanks in advance!

I'd have you cut for the next 1-2 months (approximately 500cal deficit), then do a 4 week period of maintenance (or slight surplus), and then go back into a cut for the remaining 1-2 months pre-summer. Keep doing the 2-3 full body workouts. If you haven't done the MAPS Anabolic program, I'd start there. I was in your exact situation last year. Same age, body fat, workout and calories. I went too aggressive with the cut anywhere between 500-1000 per day and for some weeks doing a 1000 cal deficit every other day while keeping protein high. I lost weight, going from 205 to 184 in 6 months, but I lost 9lbs of muscle. Go slow, 300-500 deficit max, protein very high and keep training. I had a lumbar spine injury and haven’t worked out since April except for walking and bodyweight exercises here and there. Go slow to make sure it is fat you are losing. The muscle you lost youll regain quickly once you go back to a surplus.

Body fat loss has much more effect on body composition. Go on one day per week hardcore workout on saturday. Do alternate day cutting moday, wed , friday. Once your closer to your goal step up to 2 full body workout per week, 2 huge cutting days. Do not do 7 days per week cutting to avoid metabolism destruction. Max 3 days. Stop buying prograns....

This whole video is based on the premise that his bodyfat remained the same, as measured by at home smart scale, which may as well be a random number generator. That should have been nipped in the bud as soon as he mentioned it. The guy hasn't lost weight (seemingly has gained weight) and eats 3000 (reported) calories. This could have been a 45 second video. Eat 2500 calories and keep lifting weights. Getting from 225 to 315 DL at his weight has nothing to do with tissue gain and everything to do with neural adaption. You guys either don't know what you are talking about, which is embarrassing, or do, and dint say the above because you just want to sell programming, which is worse.

Even 2000. I don't think people understand that you need to go pretty low in calories to see significant weight loss. Especially if you're obese. 1800-2000 and walk you'll lose weight at a good pace.

@@glenho1335 you need to look at what the word starve means. He is putting on weight....if he wants to lose fat he needs to he in a caloric deficit. How people like you put pants on in the morning blows my mind
