I actually remember finding a somewhat void drowning glitch in Sly on World 3, when entering the hub area there are these vines/branches that you jump on and break some spikes attached to them. The right most branch is the one that worked for me when you enter the hub, when you jump on the branch it lowers then rises after a bit. Once the branch reaches the highest point it can go with you on it, you have to double jump back and to the right while in the roll ability. If successful, Sly will launch way past the branch or even in the air. Most times, it launches me to an out of bounds area with some floating graves and some swamp water but I hope it helps out!
@MerkhVision2 ай бұрын
Cool! But of course the void glitch can be done in world 3, its just not that useful in this case. The video explains its because the trigger for the boss room isnt always active in that world like it is in the others, so even warping to its location wont do anything because the trigger isnt active unless u do the intended sequence :/ but maybe your glitch can be used for some other purpose?

Trevorsaurusrex here!! I don't really speedrun anymore...but still watch vids from time to time! Really awesome to see you guys still improving these runs after so many years!! @ 4:30 you mentioned the super jump... As far as I know, my twin brother was actually the first one to discover the super jump glitch. (Some of the runs uploaded on our channel trevorsaurusrex were done by me and some of them done by him) Once we had it figured out, we uploaded the explanation video right away. We discovered most of the original super jump cuts on the individual levels but I'm pretty sure it was someone else who found the whole world skips. I honestly can't remember! but I think we had considered it may be possible to super jump in the cannon to skip to Raleigh and then someone else quickly figured it out before we could. Now if you can manage to get cerpin or animeowzers to join the chat maybe we can figure out the rest of it!

I remember discovering the world 3 low gravity glitch as a kid. I didn't slip off the platform like neon did, but I would jump in the air and use the ball form to land on it. If I did it right sly would either bounce out the area or onto the invisible wall that neo landed on. I also remembered I jumped over the gate that you unlocked using three keys. I jumped over it to see if I could find the giant snake that was behind it. I didn't to say the least

Man I love this speed run. It’s the best route in any game off all time. Massive skips and proxy’s that let u skip entire sections if u are precise enough and then world 3 right in the middle to make things interesting. Then to end it all off with Bentley skip. Who knows what else has been discovered at this point. I’m sure this video could be massively updated with how much this community pushes these games.

A long time ago, there was actually a World 2 skip that a lot of people used, but it would only work on the PS2 release. It required Sly to use the proxy spot you mentioned, but instead of going to the very top of the roof, he would go onto a windowsill and climb along them before he made it to a spot just above the dome-shaped window at the casino entrance before dropping onto it and clipping in with the roll technique. I don’t remember who first used it, but I know it existed because it was documented somewhere. It is no longer reliable for obvious reasons.
