When Dimitri says Show me your bling and let me shine you, he means "tell me what you want and I'll give it to you". @jinclay43543 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Jailbreak is my absolute favorite episode from Sly 2. It's kind of melancholic, and I love Bentley. It's also the episode from which on the manual doesn't have maps, so as a kid I'd always get lost in that maze of a map, so I'd always prefer to follow the railways. It was nice.

@@jinclay4354It’s such a great episode because it does so many things all at once and all so well. I was just as terrified as Bentley was when I first left the safe house into the unknown spooky gothic prison, and I was just as happy as he was when the gang was back together.

Even tho i love Sly a lot, i do think 2 and 3 are horrible in terms of speedrun. No major sequence break, no huge skip, almost no big strat, huge time consuming unskippable cutscenes... I think it's one of the longest any% speedgame of the whole PS2 (or probably THE longest). Just basically doing the game normally and the intended way..in order..without any way to skip any job..main time save source being death abuse or reset to save few seconds on unskippable cutscenes... 6 HOURS to beat ANY% on Sly 3. Huge contrast with Sly 1 that i consider absolutely amazing in term of speedruning. I can try to see it as somehow "multiple games speedrun merged into a big one" (episodes) to get that more interesting... I still "love" watching thoses speedruns, since it's still speedruning, and as it's really special and not like the others game, but ngl i don't see what's people are loving running thoses games, i hope a huge sequence break but the way the game is made make it impossible

I am so glad this showed up in my recomended, Because of the new playstation plus classics catalog I've been able to finally play this series again after almost a decade and this video hit the sweet spot of nostalgia and interest. It warms my heart to see the community that has grown around this series and its speed runs. Thank you and I hope to see you make more content for the Sly series one day! :)

Absolutely phenomenal video, Ricky! Your editing is always top-tier, but I gotta say, this one is above and beyond. Thank you for the effort you always put into your work, it shines through every single time!

Feels unreal to see people still making sly Cooper content with this quality to this day
