To meet the elephants would be fabulous! My wife and I have become aware of sanctuaries in Africa, India, and Thailand, and of efforts of wildlife veterinarians to treat wild elephants in India. In the process, we have fallen in love with these “animals.” I put the word in quotes because anyone with a shred of intelligence and compassion can see that elephants are sentient, and intelligent themselves. I love how the elles come to love on you Geeta. I envy you because when your days on earth are over you will be met by so many elles you rescued. I love this video because you and Kartick talk about the beginning of Wildlife SOS. Of all the elles you've saved Lakshmi is my favorite because she touched my heart when she hugged the picture of the elephant on the side of the truck. I hope one day to see her with her own herd.
