Among many things that he says wrong is for example he say u shouldn’t rise ur hands to make dua. He justifies the Saudi war on Yemen. The Saudi government is demolishing the Islamic sites, he says it’s okay and says those r not important and gives a misguiding lecture how it’s okay to demolish them. He disagrees with many of the Imams such as Imam Abu Hanifa and says they were wrong and he does it in a very sneaky way. Just becuz someone has a following on KZbin and gets a few things right it’s doesn’t mean that they r a good person. This guy Assim is a wrong guy Wallah. I mean he defends the government of Saudi that we all know they r munafiqoon they r promoting shirk like Halloween and concerts ,turning down the Azan like mosques, incarnate and executing The scholars who speak against them, helping Israel and so on. So u can’t take guy as a sheikh he basically has an agenda which is not Islamic and wants to confuse people and astray people from Islam.

I am a bit unhappy 😢, at organizers of this event & at myself. First of all I am surprised how this particular event was not advertised properly. I was aware of other events, but this specific one was not publicized on social media. I found about it just a day before event. & then I made a mistake of assuming that it will be very crowded considering it was likely free entrance. I found in another video that probably it was not very crowded. Fortunately I attended program on next day but I would have preferred attending this as well.

Regrading dua, it's highly recommended, not mandatory. I'm yet see a video regarding Sheikh where he uttered 'I support this'. The things you are saying (Saudi Arabia). And regarding other school of thoughts, as long as it's against Quran and authentic Sunnah, then we reject (unless issue of dispute).

What a ignorant ! All of this is lies , in fact he said the opposite . this is what happens when you take your knowledge from KZbin shorts . I watched many videos regarding dua and hand raise , the hadith tells us not to do conjugational dua 5times after every salah , assim didn't said you can't make dua by raising at all. you have to watch all of this videos of any topic then judge him . And also you are not a hadith expert ., you compare assim with your fav sheikh(being bias ) , and then if teachings don't match up , you call assim wrong . but what do the actual hadith and quran says . And also These videos are cuts from LIVE so some lines may missed out by the editor . (My advice to you brother Don't judge any sheikh by your fav majhab , judge by quran and sunnah . DOn't be biased . May allah guides us all)

I have no idea why so much hate, he is having impact of millions of people, making dawah, visiting Canada to raise finds for the ummah/ g3z3.... They day you become a mufti you have the right to call someone a scholar or not. For now leave this work for the scholar to tell us from whom to listen or not.

The Shiekh helped us in so many ways during first practicing times, but saying he is not scholar doesn't mean hate or impy any disrespect. He most of the times he says, he is not a scholar and he is only a student of knowledge or student of the scholars. ​May Allah bless him for all his good works. And also akhi if u don't mind, u said "the day u become a mufti u can say who is a scholar or not" so i assume u are a mufti then with all due respect. Scholar is Alim Allamah like Sheikh ibn Uthaymeen, ibn Baz, Fawzan etc @dubai2toronto

A KZbin star, and just that. Please listen carefully to his lectures. The Saudi regime does a million things against Islam. He is silent abs refuses to speak about it.
