Love that your shop has the new World Boards. I have also picked one up. I stopped skating when World started to take over. So getting a board now allows me to live a piece of history that I missed. I live being able to support their rebirth as well as Anthony Shelter and All I Need. I understand getting back on a nostalgic board. When I came back to skating I picked up the reissue Powell Peralta Tony Hawk Claw board. It was the last board I had when I stopped skating around 1989. I definitely skated it around the bowl and got it signed by the Bird man. It now hangs on my wall.

Dudeeeee I would love to see your board collection haha. And yeah, I’m thinking of collecting some just to use as artwork/nostalgia in addition to skating them. One of these days we should meet up and do a video on your collection and skate memories and just in general go skate!

@@EricJKuhns my collection is weird boards that I just dig. Everything from my youth was road until the end. Then from 89 to 2017 there was nothing. I have picked up a few reissues of my childhood and the era I missed like world and new deal.

I got into skating because my parents brought a long board one night, decided to try it and i loved it. At the start of the year i decided to look up skateboards on facebook marketplace and found a world industries wet for willy board for 25 brand new still in bag. Id used to play with tech decks which has WI boards which I thought had dope designs. It was a 2 hour drive back and forth, but I still enjoy it. I might get myself another-one just because I watch this video

@@EricJKuhns It was an Anti Hero, probably a 7.75, with a vintage surfboard design logo underneath. 52mm Spitfires and Indys on it. Before that I skated a blank deck I got at a surf shop in Florida, before that a Dicks Sporting goods board and before that an 80's deck I got at Trader's Village.

I usually skate the Darkstar resin 7 decks, but I currently have a Darkstar regular resin deck and it's clearly thinner & lighter. Maybe World Industries does something similar now. I mostly skated Element around the year 2000. So I tried an Element Featherlight construction deck last year, which was way too light with the Indy Hollows. I don't know about their normal sized decks nowadays though. I think my next board will be a 'Blind'.
