New German battleship, count me in. Looks like she's in crates only so far, so I probably won't be seeing her in my personal account until she's either in the shipyard or in a bundle, but I'm a patient man.

I found of Fredrich Der Groß was an actual name picked out for one of the H Class battleships, as the actual ship in game was supposedly an H Class Battleship. A few other names were listed, but that one I remember the most.

I am glad you did this one Terry. I thought about getting this ship because I like Odin and Mainz. The long reload time to me is a negative. I think the ability to fire more often is directly proportional to the fun.

Kurfürst ist ein Rammbock - die Panzerung ist eine Klasse für sich. Funktioniert nicht immer - eine Shima kann den Spass schnell verderben, oder ein Träger, aber so ist das Leben. On the T9 and t10 German BB, you can take on slot 2, the propulsion and not the deck protection. My first battles (50 or more) with the T9 is with the deck protection and after with propulsion. Honestly, not see a lot of difference for the fire with or without deck protection (I have the legendary commander with deck protection in skil 12). But with the propulsion it's really better to help dodge torpedoes and shells and a little more fun to play. OK if one Shima go close in kamikaze mode, it's always game over.😂 With the Kurfurst, I have play only with the propulsion and no problem (currently only 10 battles). For this t9 premium, I think the Freddy is not so bad in front, and perhaps better with the main gun caliber, damage, reload and range. Thanks for this review.

it's purely subjective, but I feel like I'm being set on fire a bit less with the deck protection mod. In a full health Kurfürst, you can actually take a full Shima salvo (barely), and if he's too close, you can at least take him down with you.

If you enjoy the Freddy, you'll have fun in the Kurfürst :) Pommern isn't necessarily better or worse than Freddy, but different. Needs to be closer (due to lower calibre), and be strategic with the reload timer.

25s sounds a lot at first, but she actually has a slightly higher dps than FDG with the main guns. Obviously, that doesn't take penetration, dispersion etc. into account. It comes down to timing the rapid reloads, and using secondaries effectively, although I do find that she gets her secondaries shot off quite a lot.

I'm gonna be honest, it has a potential to be a nice cruiser killer. But folks who bought it didn't decifer the "sacred patience techniques" just yet. I had quite a lot more problems with FDG's, than those. Just wait till players either get aclimated or frustrated with the ship I suppose. T10 matchmaking is gonna be hard for this one, all the carriers and he spammers are salivating at the sight of those things.

It's the same with Freddy in T10 games, really. Maybe even more than in other ships, you need a "split mindset" in this, depending if you're top or bottom tier.

@@FunandGameswithTerry got him to 12 a while ago, I think he already has ~300,000 elite so. He drives my Grosser Kurfürst, MAXMED OUT TO THE BRIM! Historic Camo, franz hipper, every skill, -FYI for GROSSER KURFÜRST, If u have a high level hipper, get the secondaries for elite bonus, but the -7 dispersion for main battery slot 1! Had the -20 fire BS for a long time u said screw it, acceleration now.

The greed is disgusting first its gamble crate for the ship, cheap crate 0,4% chance, then gamble for commander and pay for anime camo… to get a t9 😂 unbelievable I have master reloader commander on mainz, black bismarck use same.. but thats another example, regular bismarck with seabed camo is so much better 😂 Moskva with he? Jeez 🙄 most people got their skillcap like submarine.. Not only is moskva king of ap-cruisers, but he had 1 cruiser 4 dd and 3 caps to worry about, if your german bb at longrange is last (or you pushing) closest target he didnt try to hit weakspot… You really should do a guide on when to push and overview what each line is capable of Choosing the right moment you can push even in cruiser and carry the win But most either stick to ‚flanking‘ and end up being absolutely useless for the team/dmg/cap points or rush to early and get eaten up Maybe on the example of chapayev or Richelieu where it’s obvious easy show how to bait/dodge shots The skillcap is horribly low in average

yeah, I need to do some more "how to" vids :) Situational awareness is probably one of the hardest skills to learn in this game. Compared to e.g. PC, it's much faster paced, and often you only have a couple of seconds to decide on what to do. Richelieu is a prime example of a ship that works ok at range, but needs a timed push to really shine, which is probably why I'm enjoying that thing so much. Just the look on people's faces (imagined) when they get rushed by a French boat :D
