Hi from Indonesia, it's quite close really! I never knew that Indonesian navy had a British destroyer. We did had some Germany torpedo boat that squared off against HNLMS eversteen(another British N-class destroyer) in West Papua conflict.

Fushun is a Gnevny with smoke and very dangerous torps. Think what you can do in a Gnevny, and then add these capabilities... plus it's mid-tier :)

It's somewhat common for countries to name a Warships in honor of another country or a person from another country. For example one of the US Navies Destroyers is named USS Winston S Churchill.

@@FunandGameswithTerry A majority of the time we name our ships after admirals but sometimes we name them after older ships that held the same name. For example the USS Mahan (DDG-72), USS Farragut (DDG-99), USS Kidd (DDG-100). However our Aircraft Carriers are named mostly after Presidents. Right now we have two classes of Carriers The Nimitz Class and the Gerald R Ford Class. USS Nimitz CVN-68/CVAN-68 was named after admiral Nimitz a WW2 admiral. The USS Gerald Ford CVN-78 is named after President Ford. The USS John F Kennedy CVN- 79 is named after President Kennedy. However the other two carriers of the Ford Class are not named after Presidents. The USS Enterprise CVN-80 and the USS Dorris Miller CVN-81 which is named after the African American WW2 war hero and is the first CVN to be named after a sailor. They're might be more Carriers of the Ford class as they are supposed to replace our Nimitz Class but as of now the US Department of Defense is looking at what our Future Carrier Fleet should look like. If they're are more Ford class carriers it's possible they could be named after President Obama, Trump, or Carter. They could also be named after war heros but as of now IDK.

@@FunandGameswithTerry yea there have problems with the catapults. On our Nimitz carriers the catapults use steam and on the Ford they use electromagnetic Aircraft launch systems. So it's been a bit of trial and error buy the navy is fixing the problem.

It's a really great ship. Once u get the tr8 pan Asia DD it op. At full upgraded ship the tr8 can do around 4k dmg each torpedo. And u have 10 launchers so that means if u launch 2 full 10 torps and they hit u can get big caliber

For those who complain about wide torp spread. There is a trick for it, 2-3,5 km =5 torp hit. 4-5 km= 3 torp hit(4 for long ship like amagi, gneisenau,schors. 5km - more = 3 -2 hit. Don't focus in one bb but look for enemy bb bunch up try to flank, it highly possible to get multiple hit with all torp.

That, or you get closer. I'm thinking of starting to play her as an ambush ship, not on stealth (i.e. more like a USN DD than an IJN). The deepwater torps hit very hard, if you pick targets you can one-shot, that might be viable.

Ambush is also good option but stay away from radar ship and german and rusian because you cannot win gun to gun with those ship. And somehow even within smoke Belfast still spoted me with radar.,

smoke won't hide you from radar. If you're in a DD and a radar cruiser lights you up, focus on dodging and keep the guns silent so your detection won't bloom, radar only lasts for a couple of seconds.

It’s always funny when you are in a dd and the guys desperately try and torp you with deep water torps. That has happened so often to me! What are your views on the Benson?

People will figure it out eventually, I hope. The Benson... well, I'm at the Farragut, so my views are that I'll have to do some more grinding? :D Being on the receiving end, these things can be quite dangerous. Sturdy ships, very manoeuvrable, and I'm seeing a lot of players executing rushes properly when I'm in a BB. Basically, when I see a DD approaching, I have two choices - I can fire up the engines and hightail it out of there, trying to kite away from torps, or I can get into an aggressive stance and try to bait them into torping early. The first option can be safer (if you can get the acceleration to pull it off), but if I'm in a bombardment position, I don't have the time, so I usually go into reverse and angle in, trying to bait them into dropping their torps early enough for me to dodge, while slamming them in the side with HE. Unfortunately, especially in smoke DDs, I find that they tend not to take the bait, probably because they can smoke up at the end of their run, protecting them from my return fire.

I’m up to this ship (grinding the line). It’s a really solid ship all around. The whole line has been good so far. I went with turret traverse, steering & speed for my loadout and don’t regret it. I wanted to enhance speed and turning in irder to have better success knife fighting other DD since torps are useless in that scenario. I hope the next ship in the line is as good as this one

I wish I was this far up the Pan-Asian line - still at the Gadjah :) But I quite enjoy the line, will most certainly go up. I've been at the receiving end of that DD once in a BB, and it wasn't pretty.

If there is a bot on the enemy team, then the bot can still shoot you in your smoke unless it moves its target lock off of you. I hope WG fixes that though.

I have two stupid questions: which Japanese cruiser have a better forward torpedo arc and wider arc, Takao or Mogami? I have an Elite commander with 20,000 XP, how do I use the 20,000 XP to retain other commander(s) (without converting)?

I don't have the Takao, so can't really say on that one. The Mogami's forward arcs are terrible, but that seems to be the case with most IJN CAs. It's usually better to kite away with them, and drop torps onto pursuers, since you have to give too much broadside otherwise (again, haven't played Takao yet). On the commander, I don't think you can use the Elite XP directly, you'd have to convert to free XP and then use that to accelerate the retraining. AFAIR you can use it to change the skills on the commander himself as well.

The line is a bit of a mix & match, since the ships are usually coming from different origins. Gnevny is already a very powerful T6, which makes the Fushun rather OP. So I guess the Gadjah has a hard time to measure up, but I've had some decent games in her.

Los destructores soviéticos / rusos son excelentes barcos, pero más difíciles de jugar. Gunboat es el enfoque correcto, pero también su velocidad es importante. Necesitas un buen sentido de tu entorno, no te concentres demasiado en un objetivo, pero siempre busca cobertura y oportunidades para hacer daño. Los torpedos se recargan muy rápido, por lo que a menudo puedes bailar alrededor de naves lentas mientras se recargan. Pronto tendré un video con una comparación de los destructores soviéticos, alemanes y estadounidenses.
