I wonder sometimes if it's just a language barrier. I can find a lot of info about WW2 ships in English, but it's very sparse on Russian/Soviet Navy info. There seems to be plenty in Russian, it's just not as accessible for me.

Hell, even the Amagi with the Deck Protection Modification 1 doesn't get caught on fire THAT often.

Thx for this terry. I’m sailing her now and of course I’m consulting here for your knowledgeable commentary. Your first battle looks somewhat what I experience with her. Lots of inc. fires, unexpected bounces and citadels. About 50k + dmg. Never 100k though, yet.

Colorado still feels tankier, but I never enjoyed that one much, probably would take Sinop over her. WV I still have to try.

Yeah just play Sinop and keep it for Ranked or Team Skirmish, Colorado is a Power Crept Ship now. Man was the Colorado was a painful and wasn’t fun grinding for me.

The guns can do anything between double-citadels on an Amagi, and bouncing off a broadsiding cruiser

🤔 I just re-purchased my Sinop, which I sold after I'd already grinded through to Vladivostok many months ago. But I was a bit confused when watching your recommendations for which mod to choose in slot #1. You said, "I don't think you need an almost cruiser-like turret traverse speed on a ship that's as sluggish as this one". But then you stuck with main battery mod 1 for its 20% turret traverse speed anyway. As I recall, Wargaming nerfed the already-slow main gun reload speed on the Sinop and Vladivostok(and maybe others), from 23secs to 25secs, and I know you chose the main battery mod 2 in slot 1 on Vladivostok for its 3% reload speed reduction, because you said you've never lost a turret on it. But since the Sinop was also nerfed to 25sec reload time, shouldn't it also get the main battery mod 2 for 3% reload reduction AND 7% traverse boost, OR are it's turrets more susceptible to being knocked out than Vladivostok's? Lastly, does the 10% fire and flooding resistance mod reduce the odds of those things occuring, AND reduce the actual HP damage suffered if you do still manage to get set ablaze or flooded?? Does deck protection mod 1 work similarly, in that does it also reduce the odds of the deck & superstructure being set ablaze by 20% AND reduce the actual HP damage if you do still manage to get set ablaze?

I usually try and leave a little meta in the thumbnails :) glad you spotted it. This referred to the naval battle of Sinop in 1853, where the Russian Empire won against the Ottoman Empire, and given how famous that battle was, I'd assume that's what the name refers to.

Video is obsolete due to the Russian battleship in the Nerf Wargaming does know how to screw up a perfectly good video in one month . p.s. And screw over there customers who bought historic camouflage for there ships.

@@FunandGameswithTerry yep in update 4.0 both Sinop and Vladi got nerfed mostly armor and dispersion nerf I think you should take a second look on the Vladi
