The problem with shift to zoom is that sometimes it gets stuck close to the ship, and you have to scroll to get the normal zoom out to work. At least for me...

That wasnt the hayate throwing, the cv had one last squad and dropped before getting his torps lined up and didnt just hover to spot for his dd before final dropping. It happens though

I was in my Vermont a little while ago and was kinda playing in the vermys strength which is its really long range guns. A little bit inot the match i think im in the back middle of the map and i pop my scout, i end up seeing their CV in the far back of the map on the edge. I type in chat telling my teamates im in range of their CV, while also calling out to their CV saying hi. One of my teamates tells me to prive it, i fire 1 salvo which chunks him for like 24k or 34k hp. The CV thought he would still be safe from me and didnt move while he wasnt spotted anymore, so i fire my second salvo at him and blow his ass up, 2 salvo kill on i think a 64k CV, i cant remeber what it was but it for sure was dead now. Thats not the end of it, close to the end of the match i decide to pus up and meet their vermont and we trade 1 salvo before he shows me that beautiful side and i shoot a second salvo him and chunk that big boy for 64k dmg, he was low but it didnt kill him. All in all im so glad i got the Vermont and the Montana because left unchecked by the enemy they are monsters.

That CV player on the enemy team was bad. He never once ran his torpedo planes in for a better spread on the torpedo drops. He just hit attack and almost immediately dropped which, as you saw, gave battleship size gaps for him to easily maneuver through.

i looked him he only has less than 1 year experience, amazingly though he has more than a 50% win rate in the Malta. But yes you are correct, as an experienced player i was asking the same question, when i looked him it up it answered my questions.

Nah, Hayate made the right call, if he tried capping he'd be getting cap reset by the carrier and probably sunk. The biggest deciding factor at the end was the rng, if the damage rolls were a little higher or torps were a degree or two different we would probably be watching a different video right now

The problem with H.E. spammers is that they are H.E. spammers, and have no knowledge of how to use A.P. This is part of the reason I don't play random, ranked or brawls. Also the insane amount of toxic players in this game today is literally out of hand. If you do anything, either playing aggressively, or playing passive, someone from your team will give you negative karma points. I've been playing this game since beta, and in today's W.o.W. co ops is much more fun to play

As I read the title, I was expecting a compilation of CVs getting dev-struck, but got a carry by the Hindenburg instead. Also: You might wanna mention at some point, that the points ticker visible in the replay is way off. It showed the red team lead and win by points instead of the probably actual point ticker showing Hindenburg team win. And this mouse scrolling to aim just makes me feel incredibly dizzy. Extremely hard to watch, but amazing they performed that well with this habit.

I'll take the opportunity to rant seeing the sub play here, I get very annoyed by subs playing Asymmetric battles, its almost a guaranteed loss for the team, they can't draw attention of enemies thus reduce damage to overall team. The enemy bots are aways accurate in depth charging , like the way they almost always avoid your torps, they also aways auto hit speeding destroyers thus don't bring a fast dd to a asymmetric game either. Someone should tell WG to stop allowing them to play this mode and ruining games for other players.

For me, subs in Asym is ridiculously easy, and the best way to bring those lines. A single ping and your torps hit almost every time, like you could leave a single competent sub to defend a cap and it is just a matter of time before he sinks all the bots. But as with all modes in WoWS: the problem is actually finding competent players. Subs tend to draw awful players. So when I don’t play the sub, I get exactly what you describe.

Tbh i usually dont rely on them for anything. They only seems to finish ships i could easily have finished and run away to the far edges when they shoot out their torps. Usually have to play around islands in these games

they didn't, if you look at caps you see they shouldn't be winning. The issue is replays have a bug where the points are displayed the wrong way around.

Poor Malta... nI feel your pain. There's always that very lucky cruiser, that refuses to eat just that 1 more bomb, or get just 1 more citadel hit. It was an interesting replay, but since CVs are my second most played class after BBs, I just cannot get over the fact that how lucky this man got there.

Poor Malta? I don't feel sad for him. Most broken class. Kills any play by easily spotting enemies for the team. There's a reason why players call it the "funpolice".

About the spotting, I fully agree with you, wg has to do something, I can't wait to try out the CV re-rework once it releases.

@@zahoranbence5449 Playing CV frustrating? Do you know why it's not less frustrating? Because it would be totally OP. People who play the class get frustrating because WG had to nerf it's alpha and accuracy. It had so much control that it made it nearly impossible for a team to play objectives. BBs and CL/As were forced to the back. Considering how much the AA has been nerfed since 2018.. Well it's a quite different game now. Pre re-rework there wasn't that much spotting too. There was so much micromanagement, that if you as a CV player didn't watch out, you could run into a Mino with full AA build (10 effing km) and get the whole squad deleted. And if you lost too many planes, you could risk running out of planes in 12-15mins. Now it hardly happens because of the lacking AA.

my fav CA hinden, maybe outdated but no obsolete, great AP, HE low but can good deal dmg decent fire, back then mini pockect battleships, and wtf CV can store 100+ planes 😅 if this in WT Naval, all that planes will get shred, plus CV need replenish planes by moving to cap, if that happen CV will get focus fire BONK this good for high risk high reward gameplay

I mean to start here, WT Naval has grossly over accurate AA guns. It's so far from reality it makes World of Warships look realistic in comparison, even though Warships AA is more effective at shooting down aircraft than it should be. Second Midway was theoretically able to carry 137 aircraft, often carried a flat 100 through the 40s-50s. The Malta was going to be able to carry in the range of 80-108 aircraft. So it's really not that much of a stretch for her to have that many, even more so where the fighters in game aren't actually from the CV itself, they are "called in" much like Dutch airstrikes and Depth Charge attack planes(things that mind you would have also inflated the numbers at the end).
