I have been having an ABSOLUTE blast with this thing! The guns are reasonably accurate, quick reload, the armor is absolutely nutty! Especially at close range this thing can be an absolute monster! I’m loving it so much! The guns don’t do huge amounts of damage, but they work so well! And the firing angles are beautiful! It’s so good I’m super enjoying it so much

The sad part is that it *does* have buffed sigma/dispersion. It just isn’t going to ever make up for just 6 barrels (or more realistically 4 barrel’s because angling).

I never had issues citadeling soviet BB's. It is a little tough, but it's not near impossible to citadel at medium to close range like the German BB line. (Not the battle cruiser line, those ships don't have turtleback armor protecting their citadels.)

Really? I've always found Russian BBs to be the easiest to citadel, I can most consistently blap them from the sides in just about anything

@@weabootrash5891 It can be a little tough hitting the citadel but its not too hard. I guess it depends on the type of BB and your guns. The German BB line tho (excluding the Battlecruiser line) are near impossible to citadel at medium to close range cause of the Turtleback armor.

@@DapperJeff there is a small gap at the front and back of the turtleback on the german BB's its hard to hit but it will result in a cit. the german BC's on the other hand just feel like rng to me. i have trouble citing Schlieffen because of how low the citadel is.

For the Pan-Asian ships, in a way, she is a perfect trainer for commanders going to TT ships, thanks to the Commander skill rework (with all it's problems), the split of each ship type getting it's own skill tree with commanders means it doesn't matter how you build this BBs commander, you can run him up to 21 pts without interfering with DD and CL builds, over on the Dutch line, Groningen and Tromp get the same benefit, and the same goes for the Unitis in the Pan-Euro line. Compared to, say Friesland with the rest of the Pan-Euro line, a line of more torp based DDs with a Premium DD that is entirely gun based Also, in short hand, I'd be calling a 22.9 sec reload, a 23 sec reload

Reduced the waiting time for battleship repairs from 40 seconds to 80 seconds. Which reduced the survival rate of the ship in battle. 2) Made a caliber of 457 mm, increased the rate of fire, and the speed of rotation of the towers. And they put 6 barrels. BUT they reduced the armor penetration by reducing the weight of the projectile from 1,373 kg to 1,000 kg. Damage from 14,500 to 13,000 During the battle 3-4 times shells fall above and below the enemy ship. Damage 1300, 2600 less often 4900. The enemy gives 6-10k damage in response As a result, the battleship is inferior to all 9th-level bonuses, by about 30-35% Such as: Musashi, George, German battleships, John Baru, Ilinoisu. The site administration removes all objective reviews about this battleship. The battleship needs an increase in sigma and or an increase in the weight of the projectile to 1,373 kg, or the velocity of the projectile to 870 m.

Have had several games with 10 superships total. Most of the SS on the other team had captains with a clue, and our side not so much. I think the devs should take a year and FIX THE MATCHMAKER before they do anything else. It has gotten ridiculous.

The 457mm (18 inch) guns are the same model 1946 on the Kremlin and Ushakov but the Kremlin's and the supership's 457mm damage is 14500 so they nerfed the damage to the Yat Sen's 457s. I noticed you did not do a comparison and contrast between the Kremlin and the Yat Sen. An entry in the WOWS DevBlog dated 11/30/22 shows that the HP (88,900 to 80,900) and max shell damage (14,500 to 13,000) of the Sun Yat Sen were reduced.

SYS has Hull A Soyuz so that's why she has less HP similar to AL. Rossiya however in Rossiya case as I remember the maneuver is B hull which better than A but idk in SYS CMIIW

I have an average damage of 45.000 on the battleship Sun Yat-sen On other battleships, 70,000 - 80,000 damage. Other players have the same thing.

Watching the gameplay it looks like the only thing this has going for it is the Soyuz hull. Why are the guns so weak? Honestly a general trade off of fewer guns has generally been higher alpha per gun. Cuz usually a ship that has fewer guns has generally had a high caliber for the tier, which is the case for this. I mean a single pen from Georgia can do over 5k. A single pen from Shiki can do almost 7k. What I'm seeing here is a single pen plus 2 or 3 other shells overpenning giving you that value. Looks like it traded guns for a strong hull. I guess since its Tier IX premium the economy should be pretty good on it to at least.

I played against this ship several times in my latest grind up BB line and Cv lines. Thing is mediocre at best to face. Most of the time the tester was running away. So if you want to play a decoy boat and run for your team spend the $$$$.

The rumour is right, however doesn't really have enough secondary dpm to make a secondary build workable though sadly... kinda says a lot about WG's sense of humour, they gave the Admiral Schroder worse secondary accuracy (GK base level) than a pan Asian BB. This ship's virtue is the armour which is v strong when properly angled, if you get close enough to brawl you are probably going to lose a lot of that benefit.

A further comment on the Sun Yat-Sen. It certainly should not have the PRC flag. Its very name would be unacceptable to the CCP as Sun Yat-Sen was the first leader of the Kuomintang government of the Republic of China. Yes, the Republic of China still exists with the historically correct flag with a red background and a blue square with a white sun in the top left hand corner. The original Kuomintang flag was just a blue background with a white sun. Players from the Republic of China will be very upset to see this battleship flying the flag of the PRC. Yet another thing wrong with this ship!

This ship overpens everything. It's annoying as hell. It's incredibly tough, manoeuvrable, and has great gun angles, but you just do 2k hits on broadside idiots because the shells fly right through the armour then rip into the Earth's mantle before detonating. The only ship I've consistently citadelled is the Yamato for some reason. I'm thinking of trying firing at the citadels below the waterline to see if the water slows the shells enough. Otherwise, I'll need to get enemies to sail bow in and fire through 500m of citadel.

I believe the view here is that since it's a "converted" Soviet BB, it would have gone to the PRC. Then they thought to name the ship after Sun Yat-sen who is highly regarded by both the PRC and the ROC, since he actually organised a period of cooperation between the CCP and KMT against the warlords and played a pivotal role in ending the dynastic system. The PRC even hold celebrations in recognition of Sun Yat-sen's birthday.

Wargamming always makes every new ship they come out with a little better than it will be after everyone buys it so beware that by next update it will play even worse. Another example is Schorder vs Agir. The Agir is a superior ship yet it is not as tanky and does not do as much damage as the current schroder even though the stats say otherwise. I have started ignoring the ship stats since they have become meaningless. How well a ship does has nothing to do with its stats it is whatever ship wargaming is pushing and only does really well while it is being promoted then it gets secretly nerfed so that it is just average ship like all the others.

The developers of Syn Yat-sen made a terrible battleship. Don't buy this battleship. Firstly: from a volley, usually 1-2 projectiles hit. (The rest are either lower and higher, or not broken) With damage 1300 or 2600 In response to 8000 - 12000.... Secondly: reduced the life of the ship by 8000 and the recharge of the repair team from 40 seconds to 80 seconds. As a result, it is worse even than the Soviet Union. And I'm not saying this, it's statistics... If he returns the hull from the Soviet Union for 88,000 lives and guns from the Kremlin, with a damage of 14,500 and a projectile weight of 1,373, then a good battleship can turn out.

Ok, ill say it. Its crap. I hear alot of people trying to compare it to Yamato. WHY? This is a crap ship and in my opinion should NOT be a premium ship. I have a feeling this thing is gonna get buffed soon. I would be pissed if I bought this ship. Six guns with lousy accuracy. When you do hit it hits, OK. Why would you want to buy a ship for lousy accuracy to maybe do OK damage? Damage dont mean jack if you cant hit your target.

A weak battleship on all counts. There is no damag, there is no survivability in close combat (it is forbidden to approach at all), air defense under a riddle can scare avik, constant drafts and even on the LC! Non-penetration, ricochets and PTZ are 8 out of 10 shots. It is not clear what the created product is for, the worst level 9 prem in the game. The verdict is not to take in any case! Everything that is written above from the cons of the ship is so. The administration of the game removes objective reviews on the forum.

I can't get my brain around 18" guns doing less damage than 16" guns. The guns on Sun Yat are the same guns as on Kremlin, except Sun Yat has 50 caliber, as opposed to Kremlin's 48 caliber 457mms. So, by virtue of the longer barrel, if anything, the Sun Yat's AP shells should have higher velocity and greater penetration and damage than Kremlin, but Wargaming just nerfed the heck out of the guns. It's incredible lazy game design, and it makes it very difficult to keep track of what guns do what. For example, we have half a dozen Atlanta clones in this game, ALL with the exact same guns, but with completely different characteristics. Different damage, range, etc. etc. Just REALLY poor game design. Lazy programing.

1.9 Sigma? Dispersion is German style. Tested the ship last night: 3x salvo of 6 shells in a row on a Plymouth at 13km : only 1 hit (overpen). This ship to me is the worst T9 BB in the game. Sov.Soyuz is much better and that ship is average only. In test this ship was supposed to have very good secundairies. I spect it for that...appeared totally useless. Don't do it. Use the build as shown here. Best to leave this floating turd in the shop and keep your money for something else.

I want to get this ship but 19km guns nothing good about this ship no range so if you do move In HE kicks our ass , Its just filler In a long list of stupid ships ships. Six guns down range looks like crap accuracy looks horrible. I swear WG you piss me off when you turn out trash like this. And expect me to buy your trash.
