The problem with Stalingrad is the counterplay of the enemy team which is “Stalingrad First”, especially during competitive play. As a Stalingrad player, you have to be comfortable with the fact that you’ll receive most of the attention once you’re spotted.

I love Siegfried but the armor layout is it's greatest weakness. The only strength is the regular side plating being thick enough to angle. The Turtleback I'm not sure if I could even call it a strength because it's more a false sense of security that will occasionally lull you into thinking you're safe or you can do something you probably can't.

You should do a how to on the Soviets DD's sometime. Played a match with you earlier today where you played the Kiev like a boss. A bismark stole your kraken, but still. Good use of cover, support with a friendly dd, bit of hide and seek mixed with pure speed. Probably the hardest line in the game to play well.

Alaska can be good but it burns too easy. It's even worse than Tirpitz or Massa with full secondary build. I stopped using my 19 point Des Moins captian on it because of too many fires. Now even with a 19 point BB tank build captian I was set on fire 9 times in the last game. Every salvo from Jutland set me on fire just complely crazy. But still spread sheet says it's fun experience.... Continue like this. Like you content. Stay safe.

I've got an idea, that may fix the gameplay experience. More game modes all the time. For example, epicenter: played by all players who chose to play epicenter. Or each other type... And 1v1 2v2 3v3 ect. Ranked five ways all the time.

Most CVs follow a typical flight path at the start of the match during their initial spotting run and you can avoid those flight paths, pay attention, and learn them. Turn on your air detection ring in the mini map to help you position. It sounds wrong but as a DD you can`t just rush the caps and you need to get out of position to start. Surviving the early round is more important. Most CVs are not going to do an extensive sweeping search for you at the start. DDs are fast enough to get back into position when its clear. Another option is to stay near your capital ships and use their AA at the start. Don`t be behind them, just in front so the CV has to fly into multiple ships AA to hit you. No CV can send rocket planes endlessly, there will be an opening allowing you to push up and contest. You do not have to get the cap first to win rounds, play to stay alive in the start as a DD mid to end game is very powerful. Be smart with your smokes and use islands to screen how many ships can shoot at you. It is not uncommon anymore to have very low damage rounds in a DD if you play to win the round. Cap points and spotting will still give you plenty of Xp. Playing against CVs in low tiers is frustrating sometimes but they can be countered and you can be useful still in a DD. Most importantly, don`t try and rush to the enemy spawn to CV snipe and get killed in the first 5 minutes. Keep at it and it gets easier to have amazing rounds in DDs despite CVs.
