So saddened to hear this news. A brilliant musician who channeled the likes of Ray Davies and Lennon & McCartney in his World Party work. A gentle, honest soul; never recall ever a bad word written or said about Karl. I was a big time, heavy listener to his Private Revolution and Goodbye Jumbo albums. A favorite: "God On My Side". Born just two days before Karl, in the same year, it drives home the short time we are given in this world. Karl made this world a better place with his brilliant contribution to music. Rest easy.

Thanks for posting this as it is a favorite song of mine. Karl gave us some great music in his lifetime and it is hard to believe that he has left us. I was lucky enough to see him perform twice with the last time being a cold early June night in Milwaukee. I was the only one waiting around to talk to talk to him after the show and I was lucky enough to spend 10 plus minutes chatting with him. Thanks for that special night Karl and all of the great music. He'll be sorely missed.

As a little boy, I once heard this song on TV and on the radio, maybe in 1993 or 1994, then for many years I hummed this verse and this chorus in my mind, but for 30 years I couldn't find the title of this song and enjoy it again . But a few months ago, thanks to Google Assistant, I managed to find the song of my childhood (another such song is Black Hole Sun). Unfortunately, my joy did not last long, because I learned that the wonderful Karol Wallinger had just died. Rest in peace, beautiful soul.💔😢
