To be honest, these times, I think, were the best rallying ever!!!... there were so many manufacturers involved!!..not like today, where there are about 4!!!!!!🤣🤣. its just my opinion!😁......please share more of your videos like this!!!.. many thanks 👌👍😁📸💯.....funny thing is, is that I've photographed about 90% of these cars!!!!📸🤣🤣🤣...you forgot about Andy Burtons Peugeot Cosworth rally car!.. now that's a special one to hear and see!!!👌💯

A great era - whether cars or events; I'd go to approx 25-30 events a year.(BRC, BTRDA, ANCRO, Mintex, clubmen) So many events from then no longer run........

No, technology has moved on so much now, its hard to imagine, but some of these cars were towards the end of the 90s, so you are talking 25+ years old. To put that into perspective, there is as much of a gap between the MK2 escort and these WRC cars as there is between these WRC cars and todays R5 cars

Technology might be better!... but, you can't beat the sound of the anti lag, and the high performance engines vertebratin through the forests!!👌👏....they were brilliant times!!!!...and I am a keen motorsport rally photographer, been videoing and photographing them for many years!!!!.....​@@SpecialStage

Blows my mind how slow these cars are when I see them on events now with R2s/ R5s even.
