There basically coding there way to the end scene in oot using various mechanical interactions in-game. Similar to Super Mario World % Today . It seems any % leads to programming at the end then eventually to refactoring ; It's as if speed-running is actually a form of mirroring in the opposite direction more and or less.

Some glitches only work on particular game versions and consoles. Typically wiivc has the best console exclusive glitches and it also runs faster than n64 which can lag like crazy, though n64 can technically have faster routes for some categories like All Dungeons because of its own exclusive glitches. Dialogue should be the same for all consoles (except for the Chinese ique), really dialogue length is only dependent upon language used. Japanese is used for speedruns because it needs fewer characters to say the same thing, and the game displays 1 character per frame, so it saves a little time over the course of a run

any% in any game speedruns, is referred to the fastest way you can achieve a "completed" state, by any means(glitches, shortcuts, etc) and any completion percent, that means, as long as the run ends with the final considered in that game, is good to go. In oot, as of today, this route is the fastest way to beat oot, which happens to be ganonless(i mean, its kinda obvious)

Agree. Watching Link do random shit for 3 minutes and suddenly jump to a cutscene is simply not fun. In my opinion the rules should state that the run ends when you give the last strike to Ganon, not when yo get to the end cutscene, that alone would probably make this category watchable again.

You guys don't understand the point of any%. It's to beat the game as fast as possible. There are plenty of other categories you can watch if you think this is boring, such as glitchless, beat Ganon, etc.
