Daniel Peer It's not a matter of whether or not you "can." I don't know about anyone else, but if I shoot buckshot all day in my 590A1, my shoulder definitely suffers. I end up with a serious bruise, usually fairly painful. Even worse if I put 3" slugs in there. Most of the time I am only wearing a t-shirt. If you shoot birdshot all day, it's not as bad.. But birdshot is nowhere near as much fun, unless you are shooting at clays.

crazyfvck Never had a bruise from shooting in my life. $30 worth of slugs along with various Buck, Bird, and Game Shot didn't do it for me. I also shoot a Mossberg 590. IDK... I just don't get why it's so bad. My chest and shoulder hurts much worse the day after a Sunday at the gym.

Daniel Peer eh.. I don't know man. Maybe I just have a wimpy shoulder :) Could also be a compounding effect. Whenever I go shooting, I never fire less than 200 rounds. I sometimes goes as far as 400, if have enough time. When I am shooting something like my SKS, or my buddies AR, it doesn't happen. But I when I do the same with one of my 12 gauges, or my Keltec RFB in .308, I end up with a nice vertical bruise in the shape of the buttstock/buttpad. Maybe I should buy one of these hunters jackets with a built in shoulder pad ;)

the AA-12 is rated at 300 RPM. At 4:20 Eric shoots a 30 round drum in about 4.5 seconds which equates to about 400 RPM.

Dragons Breath would probably be a problem. It produces a very small amount of recoil and more is usually required to load the next round on a semi-auto shotgun. Depends how this thing works I suppose.
