This ranking is based on the World Giving Index. The data on the Index is an annual production of the Charities Aid Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the United Kingdom. In turn, this organization bases its ranking on data compiled for 10 years from World Poll, an annual survey by Gallup, the U.S.-based analytics and advisory firm.

What about UAE and Saudi Arabia and Kuwait? These are among the richest countries in the world. We've seen them being very generous numerous times . it's surprising that you haven't mentioned them. I know I worked for charity organisations from that region, and they have outstanding records.
