Kelsey Hayes 4 piston calipers were on Mustangs from 1965-67 in ‘68 they went lame. But Shelby still used them my 1967 Fastback came with factory 4 piston KH calipers. My rotors also had the windows around the “hat” part of the rotor.

My 67 fastback had manual disc brakes and they worked great. They had the kelsey and Hayes style brakes as well. I also used them on a disc brake conversion on a 65 Comet

Those front disc brakes are the factory Kelsey Hayes 4 piston disc. They are worth way more then you paid for all the cars. It also has a factory adjustable proportioning valve in the system to adjust front to rear . If it has the front disc this could be a factory K car which would mean it has a 9" rear housing as well!!!!!!! If this is a real K car it is worth putting some money into it and fixing it right.

So I guess you guys are going to try to make two Mustangs out of the two you've got there?? I would have thought maybe you were goint to make one out of the two. But kudos to you if you can get them both up and driving like they should. I can't even imagine though why you are calling that Mustang The "Worlds Worst" as it's not even close to the "Worlds Worst". As a matter of fact in many parts of the world that stang would be considered an amazingly great spae find! No joke! I live in Southern Alberta Canada and to even have any car with that age means it's hardly ever seen the roads and has been kept in a Barn or garage for most of it's life. The salt here is brutally bad on cars that are just four or five years old let alone ones that are 50 or more.

@@OldTimeRevival I've spent over 40 years working on cars, many from Europe. I've seen the good and bad from both USA and Europe. Actually the Japanese cars, like Toyota, have been much more reliable and quality control of parts etc. than either USA or Europe. I have owned dozens of cars over the years, USA, European, and Japanese. USA and Europe are about the same in my opinion, and my Toyota and Lexus are by far better quality than any of the others I have owned. Now, to be clear, I'm just referring to the "quality built vehicles" expression BIBIWCICC used. Other things are quite subjective, such as I loved the way the Porsche 911/930's performed. Many European cars were built for better handling than American cars, while America put more emphasis on straight ahead drag race style performance.
