Well you did it SJ. You made this garrulous old bird speechless! 😂 I think you just won yourself a prize. 😉 This is on a whole other level my friend, you’ve turned ASMR into art. It’s becoming more immersive and the longer your videos get, the more I feel like I’m watching a movie. That said, I hope you’re taking enough time for yourself, making these videos super long is basically giving us the equivalent of your old upload schedule. Whilst it’s wonderful and I’m sure greatly appreciated, it’s not good if it’s to your detriment. I applaud your subject choice and fully expected you to be thoughtful and sensitive because that’s who you are. That end though, was something else. I did not imagine for one second the sharp left turn you were about to take and knowing how you ad lib everything you film I have to wonder, did you? That speech was straight from the heart, honest, emotional and extremely touching. It takes guts ( no pun intended ), to tell the world what you believe in, especially now when we seem surrounded on every side by the exact thing so fiercely fought against in the past. We’ve come so far in some respects and lagged behind in so many others. Thankfully, I know the world is full of people just like you and some other amazing people I know, ( you know who you are 🥰)and that alone gives me hope for the future.🤗🤗

Reading about strategic bombing is interesting. Towards the end of the war, they mostly wouldn't be intercepted. But when they were, they were usually in a lot of danger. What the luftwaffe had left were mostly aces. Aces in jets with canons. And the flying fortresses weren't invincible. Luckily, ground flak was the usual issue, and not much of an issue at that point.
