Such pretty color. Oh I rem the days of having my kids at home & summers. Enjoy the time as much as you can. It passes quickly although it does not seem that way when you are in it. Finally this afternoon I will get the chance to get back to your workshop & pick up where i had to leave off. YEAH!!!!

Irit it's like you have read my mind! I have a friend who loves flowers and she just had a baby girl... I wanted to paint her some Wisteria but hadn't figured out where to start (other than upside-down lavender lol). Thank you so much and can't wait to give this a try :)

@@iritlandgraf My local art supply store in the midwestern US. I like the way my fountain pen inks look on the page and they seem to dry pretty quickly too.

When I first saw your book I thought it was upside down until I read Wisteria, which hangs upside down😄. This is soooo pretty. If I were to decorate my dream room it would be in a violet (on the redder side, but not TOO much) and yellow gold. Such a pretty combo. I finally ordered my naples yellow and cobalt blue, because I love how they mix. Thanks for showing me that I needed them in my life.😉

Thanks Kana! When I was 11 I got to pick new furniture for my room, and I immediately fell in love with a set that was a slighly more purple version of my lavender, somewhere between Wisteria and Lavender. The handles had little dainty flowers on them. I would get that set all over again now, at 40, in a heartbeat!

I love the violets you use, wisteria and yesterday's lavender were both lovely for these... Just a thought.. adding some gold splatters or maybe silver to the bluer tones might add a little 'something' to your monochromatic ones. Or maybe your gold leaf you just acquired 😊😊😊🍁

You're completely right. I seem to have a love hate relationship with metallic watercolors but a splatter of glitz sounds like a perfect finishing touch!

What a great way to paint wisteria! I once attempted to paint it and gave up half way, just so much detail with all the individual blooms and complicated petal structure. Yours came out very pretty, I love the different colours you mixed up for the petals. And although it’s a loose interpretation you can immediately recognise that it’s wisteria!! 👌🏼💜

I love the Fabriano boutique, but I was so sad to see the cost of postage :( I wanted one of those notebooks that you were using, rushed over, changed the dollars to Aus and was so happy to see they were affordable, put it in my cart and THEN.... THEN.. lol postage was 48 dollars :( i was so sad.. my heart broke .. so i am trying to source a similar book.. you are such an inspiration Irit. I listen to your videos while I work away in my art studio.. gorgeous colour .. i use that colour a lot in all my artwork.. I think as humans we are attracted to certain colours mentally and emotionally.. x

I’ve totally forgotten about my fan brush so thanks for the reminder! The granulation on this is so pretty. I think you’re doing very well to keep up with this series with the kids at home! I have painted only once recently with my least favourite colour. What a waste of a painting opportunity! Next time I’m sticking to colours I love. Thanks Irit 👍

I ordered the Fabriano book from CultPens in the UK. The shipping to US wasn’t too bad, maybe $10. It was $45 shipping cost from the Fabriano boutique! No way I could justify that.
