NGL That jersey prank at 5:28 had everyone in the room totally and genuinely confused. I had Mike the producer in the truck on the headphones asking me why there were two DOGE athletes competing in the same chase, then Mark Toorock (the Readyman) asking if he should start the chase. Everything went quiet and everyone was looking around wondering what to do then Michael took off his DOGE jersey and everything made sense again so we started the chase.

That was easily the most entertaining match I’ve ever watched. Not only were there some incredible displays of athleticism and mastery of this game, but the fun they’d have before the buzzer started and the competitors bursting into laughter after every chase was just too good not to love.

Despite the light-heartedness of this match both teams played quite well. This was probably the most even matchup for each team. I wish it could have been in the final instead. I would have loved to face off against GNF or HWF. Excited for all four US teams heading to WCT 5 though. US WCT has progressed a bit since 2020 and I'm so excited for us to test ourselves against the Europeans!

It was a great match to watch, and a beautiful movement from all athletes. I would also have loved you @ApexDoge to face off against the teams you mentioned, especially if they were provided equal time on the court. This is not supposed to take away from your performance whatsoever, your Team is obviously composed of very talented athletes! However, imo the differences in court experience are fairly evident in WCT5-USA and it skewed it to some extent. I hope that WCT can make more courts available at some point, to provide a fair foundation to all the extremely talented athletes participating. That way in the future we can maybe admire even more unseen movement as shown in this matchup and the sport evolves even more. Take it easy. ✌

Not only was this one of the most evenly matched matches we've seen, it's also the most entertaining. Each team was joking around. Never seen something as hilarious as Seth's wind up, Micheal's jersey prank, or Olaf's Buddha start up. Easily my favorite match so far, with some of the craziest evasions and tags. Jason was easily the MVP though, never realized has good he really is. Absolutely incredible match

Apex is clearly doing something right when their second team only narrowly lost. Of course Rob Schihl was not even used to preserve him for the final but Apex Doge was clearly one of the best teams this time around. These 4 teams that qualified for the semifinals get a spot for WCT 5 as well? If so I'm sad that we won't get to see APK but maybe next time.
