0:47 "He's not really being threatened at the moment.." no kidding, he made the first evasion look easy. Which honestly made the tag at the buzzer on the immediate next chase so much more tense. I think it would be easy to say this one of the things characterizing this year's tournament is camera reviews for close calls at the buzzer. 2:38 love the casual double kong post match ^_^ 3:22 *THE* most casual tag I've seen in WCT. Just cut him off and *boop* XD Jesse took chase 6 with some sick jukes to keep Luke off his back 3:46 3:52 Though chase 7 was an unfortunate follow up, 4:31 I'm not entirely sure if it was a bad choice of juke or getting hung up on the obstacle :/ I was a little surprised by the call on chase 8, but the angles shown in the video looks like it could be disputable. Do the judges have access to camera angles with a more definitive view? 7:22 man, tough bail, he wanted to keep moving but there was no way from that crash :/ 8:22 sick throw for the tag on that one, gotta be a great feeling of vindication when you just go for it like that and it lands 8:56 give that camera operator a raise, they certainly know what's important to capture on the quad XD has that ever happened before in WCT? I'm not familiar with all the archives. I feel like it has to have happened, I think we've all had various wardrobe malfunctions doing parkour ^_^ Another thing that felt like it pervaded this match was a lot of waiting way too long to start moving as the evader. Hopefully that informs everyone's sense of timing on what the limit for waiting for an initial juke is.
@WorldChaseTag3 жыл бұрын
If there is a DTR (Disputed Tag Review) the EVS Operator from the OB truck quickly tries to find the best angles and sends it over to a monitor beside the quad where the Head Ref, Adam Kozy can look at them. If Adam doesn't like shat he sees, he can communicate with T-Man the director who'll instruct the EVS Operator to get more angles if possible. Also, I think the cameraman was secretly working for OLLO - damn those new shoes look good!

Just an observation about the rules The starting teams have a quiet big advantage because they have a fresh mouse We often see escape during this first game and sometimes double escape Would be more fair if the first mouse of the other teams are fresh too no ? 🤔
@emmaj22133 жыл бұрын
That’s why it’s important to win rock paper scissors
@lukereed64053 жыл бұрын
The fact that the evader keeps staying on if they successfully evade also gives the first team to evade an advantage. Imagine a match where the first 14 rounds are tags. Then in round 15, the first team to evade is up again (since with all tags they evade on all odd numbered rounds) and if they evade there, they win 1-0, since they'd be up to evade again round 16. But they had 8 chances to evade, while the other team would have only had 7. I think it would be fairer overall if there were two halves, and in between the halves it resets so the winner of the last round of the first half would not stay on for the start of the second half like they normally would after winning their round. And then have each team be the first evader in one of the halves.
