This was definitely a great match to see! It’s really nice when 2 of your favorite teams go head-to-head! Always voting for Apex Eth because of Seth and Schliger, but Orlando and his team are just beautiful to watch regardless. This gave me that close match feeling like when Seth Wang’s old team faced off against United and Caryl won with that beautiful leap off the mountain

I doubt it. By analysing this match, it's clear that APEX have what Team PHAT lacks and that's skill. Olof, sliger, Jason and rob showed incredible dive tag ability through obstacles. Jason Begerons dive tag on Devon was pure precision. Orlando is the only guy on Team PHAT that has speed, power and skill in abundance. Luke Stones is super fast athelete but he lacks tactics and skill. Apex has access to quads in America unlike team phat usually and team phat focuses more on parkour rather than competitions. Once Team PHAT get some solid quad training, they should be unleashed. Orlando and Luke Stones did most of the heavy lifting in the UK championships and Luke Stones didn't even get any evasions but he got phenomenal tags. If Luke stones got the skill of Orlando, that would be enough for team phat to beat any team

how to counter dives as an evader = as soon as you see them lower themselves into a diving position change your direction. just hard to keep your head on a swivel like that and see those moments as they happen. if your feet are on the ground when someone else enters a jump of any kind you always have the advantage. kind of like evading tackles in football (american football) .. cool to see the sport progressing

Hope to see more well balances matches in the future, and also with teams that are so well balanced. the deep dive tactic is what skipped the balance to APEX for this year. Next year other teams will adapt. But APEX will stay at finalist level for sure, as they don't have a weak link as so many other teams. A lot of homework for the other teams and maybe only to compensate by merges of MVP's

@@riuphane yes but this isn’t a random “UK CHAMPS VS US CHAMPS” match, it’s a group match like any other. By chance (I suppose) the UK and US champs got in the same group. I was asking how the groups were selected because I am guessing they just randomly put teams in a group. I think they should have made different “pots” from which you pick a team. Kind of like the champions league in football, where you have teams divided in four pots (based on how good a team is) and for each group you pick one team from each pot, to make the group more balanced.
