It maybe be sketchy in some way but im an ironworker and in the feild we dont have vice grips and use grinders daily, i cut two straight cuts on the arbor, so i can slap my crescent wrench on there and turn it off. Because the first thin apprentices lose is the tool to get those off lol, and we can never find them

If you ever need to remove that on the trail you will need a team of weightlifters. The way they are done on heavy equipment is sections and one end has the holes slotted so it can be slid into place then bolt the other side rather than trying to line up the whole thing while trying to get the bolts in. Just something to consider.

20:50 You may want to attach a quick disconnect hose to the oil plug that has a cap on the end of it, you can tuck the hose up in the skid plate. Some people do this on their zero turn mowers so they can drain the oil easier.

Normally on the DeWalt Disc holding nut, if you look carefully you will see that the holes for the spanner wrench are also set up for an allen wrench to make removal easier when this happens!

My skidplate is 8ft long, 1/2 uhmwp with full subframe, it allows me to glide over virtually everything! And it dampens the impact of hitting rocks hard

The strength of your skid plate can very quite a bit with different alloys A pice of 3/16” T 1 and you could drop your car on rocks and it would bounce off. Then you have aluminum. Light weight but very strong 💪 as well Are the Mad Maxers on to you yet
