Now that is one big cup of tea! Thanks for showing us how to make worm tea. Also for mentioning that the used castings can be put directly on the soil for slow release. No waste. Love it. The Gardenfather 😂

Great information on garden brews, Sidney. And foliar sprays are the best way to give your plants a quick boast of what they need. Take care and stay safe, Rob

Yes it is. Also, helps the plants fight off aphids and other chewing insects. I want to start applying this more often for the fall season to help produce healthier plants. Thanks for stopping by. Have a bless week

Some of the best ingredients for compost tea
@TheNakidGardeners4 жыл бұрын
Yes.... We like to mix it up since we have an abundance of our own castings and compost. It costs a lot less money to make our own for the quality. Is your recipe similar to this?
@purbious10304 жыл бұрын
@@TheNakidGardeners my recipe is a little bit different, I have not tried.a worm farm yet however, herein south fl the millipedes do most of the compost in my beds,and I I like to use sea weed when in grow and grass,I use alotta banana peels in my bloom formula due to high potassium. And I need to get more azomite and microrhiza.

@@purbious1030 We are thinking about doing an experiment with the Azomite next spring/summer season.

Thank you very much for the information. I just purchased the azomite so I have never used it. I am a first timer at using all of these new ingredients for working in my floral and vegetable garden. to produce a more healthier and productive garden.

Very Nice recipe, thank you for sharing this recipe. I need to work more with different compost teas. I did this about 10 years ago and just got away from doing it the last few years. My garden hasn't been the same. 😢

I not sure if you are aware, but molasses kill nematodes, both good and bad.
@TheNakidGardeners4 жыл бұрын
We heard the sulfured molasses does but NOT unsulfured molasses and bootstrap molasses. We are aware that some will kill the nematodes and POSSIBLY earthworms. The reason why we made sure we only use the molasses we selected. Thanks for your feedback. Which types of sugars do you use for your worm tea?
@gardeningsimplified4 жыл бұрын
@@TheNakidGardeners I don't use worm casting, I garden on too large of a scale. I did some research to combat root knot nematodes and found that molasses or sugar kills them. But it also kills the beneficial nematodes. I would have preferred a better solution. The good thing is that it does help good bacteria growth.
