It’s expensive but it can be your whole pedalboard just add one or two of you fav overdrives and you’re set , and there’s lots of cheaper modeling alternatives out there for every budget , wonderful demo and playing as always, love that PRS Fiore also 👍

I told my Sweetwater guy yesterday to reserve one for me when I saw it accidentally leak. I JUST sent Eventide a product request a week ago asking for almost this exact thing! Even asked for 4CM and it can do it! And true spillover…be still my beating heart. ❤ I haven’t been this stoked for a new product in a long time. Mine arrives Friday and the H9 max I said I’d never sell is probably going to be sold. 😂

Thank you for this tutorial, you restored my faith! I bought this thing following recommendations of some serious people and couldn’t tweek my way out of a hole in the ground (Blackhole lol), couldn’t activate the most simple controls without reaching a dead end each time, other than going through the 99 factory presets. Now I’ll try to follow your pointers. Thanks again for your effort. (BTW it’s po-LY-phony)

Many of the commenters clearly have no idea what this is. The Eventide is not meant to compete with the Line 6 and other multi effects. Those effects are like Swiss Army Knives as they have a bit of everything and work well for many people. The Eventide puts more processing power into fewer effects to achieve studio quality sound without the studio. It’s two very different technologies and classes of device.

The Meris LVX has a challenger! Prism shift reminds me of the Terra Echo setting in the Boss DD500, where it sounds extreme by itself but blends really nicely with another delay. Quite a lot of nice movement in the demo here.

Any one complaining about the price of this pedal being too much…. is an absolute Noob!. You could literally take this one pedal and your guitar and amp and have everything you need. If you want to expand a little you can add an expression or wah pedal and for greater preset control just add a midi switcher. Its a no brainer. High quality effect and super powerful processor.

I'm newer to worship music (been playing a year on the platform now). I'm bringing a gibson les paul with no peddles to the stage (only working with volume/tone knobs and sound guys making adjustments). I grew up on rock music from Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Clapton to GNR and Pearl Jam and that influences my sound. Is it just a worship music thing to have 50+ things to step on? Am I cheating myself or the congregation by not having more to my rig? I really enjoy your content and thank you for helping me learn so much!

@worshiptutorials
@worshiptutorials Жыл бұрын
Yeah that's just the H90 and the Compressor (Empress Comp Mk 2). I was going back and forth between the MicroPitch and the right side of the H90 because I had dailed in the MicroPitch setting in the H90 to sound like my main setting on the red MicroPitch pedal. So they were supposed to sound the same there going back and forth. Technically they'll sound identical if the same settings are used.

@anthonyhawkins7516

That's replacing 4 effects with two. Whilst the H90 has multiple effects in one, they're more limited in features. e.g. delay, pitch, chorus and reverb is achievable however you might not have the hall/spring/plate options, or specific type of chorus or specific type of delay etc.etc.

The Stomp and FM3 are very capable, but they don’t really do many of the things Eventide does, especially with pitch. Fractal can come close, but Line 6 just doesn’t have effects that do what H90 does. Of course it’s all based on an individual’s needs and budget.

Naw that's a lot of opinion and not necessarily truth. A lot of guitar pedals, eventide included, are great studio tools as well as guitar tools. They certainly aren't a novelty for producers or touring musicians. Strymon would be in a similar camp. The reverbs / pitch shifting algorithms alone are worth the price honestly.
