Regarding the Fiat 500e, they have a deal in Colorado where state and federal incentives can be applied as a downpayment on your monthly lease rate. TFL did a video on it where they got one for $0 per month for something like 27 months. They just had to pay the taxes, which was about $1200. So for $1200 up front, you get a $0 per month lease for just over 2 years. It's the only way these will sell, because that's all they are worth, $0.

It's a shame about the Jetta. It's an attractive car with a lot of features other cars in its class doesn't even offer as an option. Hopefully VW has now improved the Taos by replacing the DCT with an eight speed automatic in the AWD models for 2025. I'm surprised not to see the Taos on this list.

Own a 2023 QX60. Love it. When they went with the little turbo I thought it idiotic. They ruined the QX80 also. What the H were they thinking. I might add it's cousin the Pathfinder kept the V6. I would call the Nissan President stupid to his face for ruining Infiniti.

You can’t go wrong trashing Infiniti that’s for sure. They used to make decent cars no question and were a great value next to Lexus or Acura. That was a long time ago. CVT sucks, steering by wire ridiculous, and that 4 cyl is terrible

I recently test drove the new Fiat 500e -- no steering feel! How about the current Jetta? In the old days, people endure Jetta's lack of reliability in order to enjoy its excellent steering feel. Even I'm still keeping my manual-steering Mk1 Jetta with conveniently narrow 1.6-meter width -- Only a motorcycle is skinnier.

It has to do with govt regulations. They're being asked to be as fuel efficient as possible so they keep throwing in tech to try to do that as fast as possible. Hybrid. Mild hybrid. plug in hybrid. Small 4 cylinder turbo engines.

And also any I MEAN ANY Toyota or Lexus products with V35A 3500cc Twin turbo V6 like Lexus GX550, LS500, LX600, Toyota Sequoia hybrid, Tundra non hybrid and hybrid version, Land Cruiser 300 series, engine failure, cracked engine block, transmission failure, bearing failure issues, with hybrid tundra and sequoia electrical failures and hybrid battery failures. Toyota dealers are rejecting their warranty for customers. And now they’re known unreliable engine with V35A and became 5th to 6th on reliability

I wonder what car manufacturers are thinking these past few years. Quality has plummeted and prices have ballooned. Brands that have traditionally made high quality products, BMW for instance are now producing over-priced drek. Not to mention these ridiculous infotainment screens that are difficult to navigate, and in my mind, dangerous. You need to take your eyes off the road for to long to search the right ´´app’´ to turn on the AC or whatever. Let’s go back to buttons and switches!

You didn't have a sporty category, but I'd say it's a tie. First is the Mercedes AMG C63, whic swapped its iconic V8 for a turbo-4, essentially destroying the character and enjoyment of this very expensive car. Next is the Dodge Challenger Electric, which fails on basically every level as a replcement for the gas version. Both of these could easily be on the list.
