Colombians use the word "paro" for a strike. So in this case, paro de camioneros. Also, A better day to climb patios without all the traffic are Sunday or festivos (Colombian holidays that usually fall on Mondays). This means you have ciclovia. Granted you will have thousands of cyclists and still some cars but it might be a little easier to navigate. Great video and great work!

Phil, I have a KOM challenge for you. It's probably the longest road climb in SoCal (~35 miles) with the most elevation gain (~9,000'). It goes from just West of Maricopa on Hwy 166, then East onto Hudson Ranch Rd, then South on Cerro Noreste to the top. Maricopa is at ~500' elevation and the top of Cerro Noreste is at ~8300'. However the climb has some downhill sections totaling ~1500 of descent, so you end up climbing I think ~9,000'. I would like to see you make a video of your attempt.
