As a Lyft driver, I was on the driver’s side for the first minute or so. I’ve had conversations like that where I just want to make sure I’m picking up the right person, and they won’t acknowledge their name until the 3rd or 4th time I ask.

@@esteeeela you have all the security of knowing who the person is including a photo of the driver, car make, and license plate... The driver doesn't have any of that and is having the I want you to say my name scam being attempted on them fairly often in many places unfortunately... If you wont say your name he literally has nothing to go on... :-/

If you watch Mr. Ballen too much, you'll start to see the serious problem of just jumping into an Uber without first confirming the driver is actually your Uber driver.

Rafaela Silva don’t listen to him.....NEVER dump phone with a body, even a burner, they trace them back to where they were bought, what day, what time, (credit card or cash) and more than likely there is VIDEO, whether in the store where it was bought or outside the store, they will check for the people around at the same time, in other words you get your ass caught, so NO PHONES PERIOD! LOL
